Chapter Two

School of Magic

It has been two years after they had explored the Sunset Sunrise and the Hidden Forest. Sky could still not forget the conversation he had with Nayla. And Sky never saw Nayla again for two years, despite his father going to their house regularly, checking on Sky. Sky wondered why the Elder Leader always goes to their house, but his father would not answer. Sky and the Elder Leader began to have a close relationship. He would tell stories from his father and mother's childhood. Their old house were now fixed and were bigger as ever. The Elder Leader constantly gives them money to fix and improve their house.

Sky turned 12 years old two months ago and his mother takes him to school almost everyday. Geena works as a teacher. She teaches Magic to children. Sometimes, when Sky was walking towards the school, he witnesses children playing at the park but he was never able to join because everyone sees him as different because of his white wings. Sky learned that white wings were called Bad Luck. And whoever owns it will die or whatever the kids say to him. But his mother say it's all a lie.

Sky sat at the front row in his classroom. Children were just flying in his background. Sky hasn't been able to learn how to fly because his dad would insist.
