Three years later:

Wangji and Wei ying were standing in front of two graves, Lili was also with them. Wangji was holding his belly.

Wei Ying was looking with teary eyes at the grave on which 'Wei Cheng' was written.

Lili held her father's hand and gently squeezed it. Wei ying looked at her and nodded reassuring her that he's OK.

Wei Ying, Wangji and Lili came back home. Wei ying helped Wangji in sitting. Wangji was 4 months pregnant, due to which he would get much tired.

Lili brought a glass of water for Wangji and gave it to him.

Wangji smiled saying, "Thanks my angel".

Wangji drank the water. Wei ying then helped Lan Wangji in lying on the bed.

Wei Ying kissed on Wangji's forehead saying, "Rest for a while Lan Zhan. I'll prepare lunch for us".

Wangji smiled while nodding.

Wei Ying went to the kitchen with Lili to prepare lunch.

Wangji kept his hand on his heart and started thinking about what happened 3 years ago.

Flashback :

Wangji was taken to the hospital. His condition was worsening with time. His breathing was slowing down. Wei ying was constantly telling Wangji to 'not loose hope. Be OK please'.

They reached the hospital. Wangji was admitted in the hospital. He was taken to the emergency ward.

Wei Ying sat down and hugged his knees, tears were flowing from his eyes. His hands were bloody because he held Wangji in his arms earlier.

Wei Ying looked up when he heard Yanli's voice. Wei ying got up and hugged Yanli crying. Yanli also had tears in her eyes. She was rubbing Wei Ying's back. She never saw Wei Ying this miserable before. Not even after the death of their parents. Perhaps at that time Wei Wuxian was controlling himself to not broke down in front of his siblings. He couldn't break down in that crucial moment because if he broke down, who will console his siblings. But this time was different. Wei ying was crying miserably and telling Yanli to 'pray for Wangji's health. He can't afford to loose Wangji'.

Xichen also had tears in his eyes. He was thinking, "Why is his baby brother so unlucky? Why fate has to be cruel to him everytime? Why?"

After sometime, a doctor came out.

Wei Ying hurriedly went towards the doctor and said, "Doctor! How's he?"

The Doctor said, "His condition is worsening. His heart beat is slowly dying down. He needs immediate heart transplant".

Wei Ying was shocked after hearing this. So was Xichen and Yanli.

Wei Ying, "Heart transplant? O... OK... I'm ready to be the donar".

Yanli said, "a-Xian! Think about your daughter. Your Lili. You know how much she has gotten attached to you. She wouldn't be able to bear the pain to loose you. She has already spent 6 years without you".

Wei Ying loudly said, "But there's no other option".

"I'll be the heart donar", a voice came from behind.

Everyone looked behind and saw Nie Huisang standing there with Cheng.

Wei Ying, "Nie Huisang?"
