I made you my world, have you heard?

Sky watches Prapai and their son, Dao, playing with the puppy they just adopted. Sky loves the scene in front of him, Just the two people he loves, laughing and playing around with the new addition to their little family.

He can't believe it has been a decade since he and Prapai met and fell in love. Sky thought no other person would make him fall in love, but they are six years into marriage with a five-year-old son. Oh, life brings you surprises.

Now, Sky fondly remembers the moment he became sure that Prapai was different from all the boys before him and that he would be the person that Sky would be marrying. Well, his younger self was correct. He wants to thank himself for not pushing Prapai away when they started.

A 23-year-old Sky was in his hometown, Lopburi, for his semestral break. It took a lot of whining and pouting from Prapai before the said guy let him go to spend his vacation with his father. 

"Aren't you tired of seeing me every day? Also, it's been a while since I visited my father."

"NOOO, also I will miss you so bad then what happens to me??"

"Phi, it's just two weeks after that. You'll see me every day again."

Sky could see that his boyfriend was pulling out his kicked-puppy expression. God, I am not your strongest soldier. Still, a no was no. Sky made sure that Prapai won't see him crack, so instead of confronting his boyfriend again, he walked to their shared bedroom and started packing up.

"My Skyyyyyyy"

He fondly rolled his eyes at the latter. Sky decided he would give his boyfriend some compromise or something they could do after his two weeks vacation with his father.

Their compromise ended with Prapai dropping by Sky's home in Lopburi and unofficially greeting Sky's father and maybe having a date around the town before he returned to the city. Of course, who was Sky to say no to that? Exactly!

When they arrived at Sky's childhood home, his father was already at the gate waiting for them; he was happy that Sky was spending two weeks with him. When he got off Prapai's car, instead of his dad's bear hug, welcoming him. A brown puppy greeted him instead. Sky was surprised.

"Kai!" his father called the dog with a laugh.  

"Pa, is this your pup?" 

"yeah, Our neighbour, your auntie Chirawan gave it to me."

"Auntie? The one who always gives us the plants?" his father nodded in response.

Sky suddenly remembered that he was not alone, so he quickly turned to his Phi, who was already greeting his father with a respectful wai and a polite smile. His father did the same.

"Pa, this is Phi Prapai, My boyfriend."

Sky's father looked at him quite surprised, and he knew perfectly well why his father was surprised. Before he entered college, Sky made a little fuzz that he won't be dating anyone, even after some failed blind date attempts from his auntie. It was safe to say that after those failed blind dates fiaschi, they stopped asking Sky to date.

They weren't wrong to stop because before the semestral break started, it wasn't in his plan that he would be returning home with someone in tow and that someone was a boyfriend. So when he returned with a boyfriend in tow, his father would be surprised.

"we will only drop my bags here and just take a quick tour around town before Phi drives back." Sky explained to his father, and his father gasped as if Sky said something offending.

"oh no, Mr., your boyfriend will be eating dinner here and can stay for the night. I know you both had a long drive."

His boyfriend looked at him with an enormous smile on his face. He won again. 

Prapai unloaded the bags first while Sky went his merry way of annoying his father in the kitchen with the pup in tow. 

"Pa, what is the name of this pup?"

"Oh, Kai"

his father's answer made him whip his head fast between his father and the puppy sitting on the floor. His father dared too name the puppy his nickname--

"why?"

"Kai is a cute name." his father deadpanned said. 

"BUT PA! YOU CALL ME KAI TOO?!" he could hear the slight wheeze from Prapai and his father's loud laugh. He didn't just name the dog my nickname?

"your nickname is Ky; it's a different spelling." 

Sky could only groan at his father because he knew that, at this point, he lost, and the poor puppy already knew its name. 

When Prapai had settled down Sky's luggage, and they had already got the list of things they would buy at the grocery, they were ready to go. 

"Phi! Let's go!"

Sky was fixing his shoes when he felt Prapai's presence behind him, so when he was done with his shoes, he turned his attention to his boyfriend. To his utter surprise, his boyfriend was carrying the puppy; he was vibrating in excitement.

"where are we going?"

"is the-?"

"Kai is coming with our date," Prapai says with a large smile. 

Sky was stoned in his place, staring at his boyfriend and the puppy. I love him, and I hope he will be my last. He was hit with a realization that he was utterly whipped with the man before him.  

"P'pai,"

his boyfriend, playing with the puppy in his arms, hummed in response. 

"I love you, phi," 

Sky knew it was probably still early in their relationship to tell the guy that he loved him, but he knew Prapai would stay with him for the longest time.

Sky felt a pair of strong arms wrapping around his waist. 

"What are you thinking, darling?" His Husband asked him, his chin resting on Sky's shoulder. 

"nothing."

"Dao loves Talay already; I'm being replaced," Prapai whined. That made Sky laugh out of disbelief. 

"You do know that Dao's favourite will always be you." 

"yeah, and You and Dao are my life. You know that, right?"

"I'm very much reminded of that every day but don't forget Talay."

His Husband groans, and that makes Sky laugh again. 

Sky knows that he and their son was Prapai's most prized treasure, but for Sky, He made Prapai and their son his World.
