Chapter 3

I woke up in a white room. Leslie was hovering over me. Meredith was in the corner reading a Tiger Beat magazine, probably goggling over pictures of Zayn. Seriously, how did they do it?

"Boo," I muttered. Leslie jumped back. I sat up. Meredith was playing with her hair, a sign that she was nervous.

A healer came in. She was really perky, and annoying. Her hair curled around her shoulders. At least I would be released today; I really couldn't stand it here.

Meredith jumped up. "We have dress fittings today. Mine's at three. I think yours is at five."

So then they discharged me which made me happy and we went to get coffee before the fittings. We were going to see each other in wedding dresses and bridesmaid's dresses and complain how fat we were and how big our butts were. Like, seriously, people.

Well, it didn't go that way.

The lady was trying to fit her into some skanky mermaid dress, which no one really liked, and the one she did like the attendant didn't. The one she liked was super pretty, and we got it about the minute before our appointment. Then we walked across the shop to ours, happily chatting.

Another perky dress lady assistant  came and Merk decided to want pale blue dresses and I loveloveloved them. They were strapless, coming down to our knees, with a bow on the side. They were so awesome we screamed. And then bought them. And then got kicked out. Because we were screaming. Meh.

So it was the day of the wedding.

The vows were SO CUTE. I cried. Literally. Voldemortiseo wasn't there, which was happy, and I met a boy. A BOY! His name was Blaise Zabini, I knew his parents, he was Draco's friend, too, but I didn't actually know him that well. He seemed like a cool guy, though. Not that I need a relationship right now.

Meredith had bought a house a few weeks before, and that's where she was living, but Les and I were camped at her place tonight. Her parents were like mine - rich, popular. They stayed out of her life, too, so we did whatever.

I don't know why, but we were all in Slytherin. Maybe because we are all sassy and fabulous. All I know is the week leading up to September we decided it was time to put ourselves together in ways we never have before. Meredith, Leslie, and I started to spend more time together, creating boundaries in our friendship while exploring where we never had before. Meredith got a job as Junior Secretary to the Minister or whatever. It just worked.
