"UGH Do I have to do EVERYTHING around here?"
Daffy Duck. He was loud, egotistical, sociopathic, and worst of all, he got saliva everywhere. He had been staying at your place for the time being while Bugs was away on a trip. Bugs didn't trust Daffy enough to leave him with the house for more than a week, maybe even less. Bugs always did favors for you, so in return, you agreed to let Daffy stay for the month until he could return to his usual residence. In the week that that he'd been around, he has been quite the nuisance. He's bossy, demanding, and never lifts so much as a finger to help around the house. Despite this, it wasn't ALL bad. He kept to himself for the most part. He often spent his days laying about on your sofa watching his favorite show, Off Duty Cop.
Back to the situation at hand, you were making nachos and cheese, as per the request of Daffy. He grumpily stomped his way over to the kitchen, to which you quickly shot up from your seat after him.
"What do you think you're doing?"
"Tch. You've got eyes. What's it LOOK like I'm doing? I'm getting my nachos."
He scoffed at you, picking up the ladle placed next to the pot of cheese. You ran up to him, snatching the utensil from his hands to which he made a face. You glared at him, your hands on your hips.
"Daffy, the cheese hasn't even been in the pot for more than a minute."
"It's taking too long. Can't you just microwave it?"
"If you want shitty nachos, yes."
"Whatever."
Daffy trudged over to the table, sitting and watching the pot. You took a seat next to him, making him cringe. You didn't trust this duck for one moment. About a minute passed, and he glanced over at you, wearing the same uninterested expression he always did.
"Is it done yet?"
"No. Would it kill you to have a little bit of patience?"
"Well, it's not MY fault you waited so long until you finally decided to FEED me!"
"You ate an hour ago."
"So what? I'm starving now. Ugh, I swear you're just like Bugs. Always thinking in the past."
You crossed your arms, fed up with him by now. The two of you sat in silence, occasionally glancing over to the pot of cheese. Suddenly, Daffy pushed himself away from the table and stood up, staring directly at you.
"Excuse me. I have to use the bathroom."
Daffy slowly walked backward, still staring at you with motivated eyes. He swiveled around, hunching over for a moment, then dove towards the stove. He reached for the ladle, to which you ran up and grabbed his wrist. You held a tight grip on him, but he wrestled you back. The two of you fought back and forth, swinging around the kitchen in an aggressive dance. Feathers flew around the room as he wrestled with you for the ladle.
"ITS. NOT. DONE YET!!"
"IM. HUNGRY."
You fell onto the floor, Daffy rolling on top of you. The two of you struggled to take hold of the ladle, yanking it back and forth. If it weren't for the current situation, you would have been a bit flustered from the position the two of you were in. You managed to push Daffy off, shoving him against the oven door, making a thud. He only grunted, not letting go. As the two of you continued your repeated struggle, Daffy was continuously pushed to the oven door, causing the stove top to shake. Before you knew it, a loud crash was heard as you turned away on instinct.
"..EuUeugh...."
Daffy whimpered, a shiny pot tumbled over as hot cheese spilled out onto his head. The cheese seeped into his feathers as you quickly crawled over him. Trying not to touch him where the cheese had spilled, you gently took a hold of his legs, to which he rejected.
"A-Ah! Stop..!"
You looked at him confused but stopped just as he had asked. You waved your hands a bit, unsure what to do.
"D-Daffy I have to move you, you'll get a burn and I'll have to take you to the hospital and I can't afford a bill right now and I can't just call Bugs and say you spilled cheese all over yourself and got a 2nd degree burn he'll kill me or—"
"Ugh, has anyone ever told you to shut up? Apparently not because you talk too much."
"Hhuh..."
You sat there staring at Daffy as blazing hot cheese continued to trickle down his face. He looked at you completely unamused, though he seemed to have a light blush across his beak.
"You...Do you even..?"
"I feel great. I don't know what your problem is."
Daffy spat out at you unintentionally as he shivered a bit, the hot cheese running down his back now. You felt completely dumbfounded now. What the hell was wrong with this guy. He seemed to have a sensitive reaction at first, but then suddenly he was fine with scolding hot nacho cheese running down his body? You just looked at him in disbelief.
Daffy rolled around in the cheese a bit, clearly enjoying himself. He didn't seem to be in any pain at all. He opened his beak wide, grabbing a handful of nachos from the bowl on the counter and stuffing them in his mouth. He then positioned himself in front of the spill to catch the remaining bit of cheese that trickled down the pot.
"Bugs would never let me do this. He's so uptight."
He continued to swim around across the floor in the puddle of cheese, spreading the yellow liquid everywhere. You couldn't speak. You just watched as the little black Duck made cheese angels on your floor.
"Well? Are you coming in or not?"
"I'd uh...rather not."
"Eugh. You people never have any fun. What happened to this country?"
You stood up slowly, a bit lightheaded from the whole thing. You leaned against the table, trying to balance yourself. Looking down, you watched as the duck dragged his ass across your floor, making streaks of feather infested cheese in the tiles.
"You're a freak."
