Soyeon's POV 🦁💛

It's been a few days since the CEO approved 'Idle Song' and also changed our group name to 여자 아이들. Right now, I'm filming the MV for the song and because this is probably the last song before the group debut, I suggested to drop subtle hints about our group in the MV. Surprisingly, the CEO agreed and we went for a simple globe scene which shows pushpins marking the countries where the members are from, and also a calendar scene where I circle 'April' which was the month of our debut.

I've also been teasing Soojin in my MVs since Jelly by getting her to wear a white fox mask and calling her "Foxy Lady" in the lyrics. After all, why would I not get my best friend to cameo in my MVs? It's also a fun sneaky spoiler of who I'll be debuting with!

{A/N: Soojin was technically called Foxy Friend aka 여우 친구 which is a pun on 여자 친구 aka girlfriend so Soyeon was referring to Soojin as girlfriend the whole time 😉}

Soojin's POV 🦋💙

"Foxy Lady, please get ready for your scene in 5 minutes!"

Today was the filming of 'Idle Song', Soyeon's second solo song and she has invited me to cameo again. The first time she invited me to cameo for Jelly, I was excited to but also really shy so I was in a dilemma. Luckily, smart Soyeon suggested that I could wear a fox mask to conceal my identity before my debut which would also bring me more comfort.

Walking onto set, my first scene involves me serving pancakes to Soyeon in a diner. Soyeon gave me a 'fighting!' before the scene started which helped me to calm my nerves. The slate strucked and I was confidently strutting in, plate of pancakes in hand, when my heel caught on something.

Oh no! Everything seemed to slow down as I watched the stack of pancakes fly in a perfect arch away from me. Luckily, I managed to catch myself before falling but the pancakes weren't as lucky.

"WHOA are you ok Soojin ah?!" I turned to look at Soyeon who's mouth was frozen in a big 'O'. I nervously nodded back, still in shock from what happened. After seeing my reaction, Soyeon couldn't help but stifle a laugh. "I'm sorry but that was really elegant of you hehe!" I just rolled my eyes at her but let out a chuckle as well.

After the filming crew rushed over to make sure I was ok, the director said that the shot was unexpected but still usable. Our facial expressions were funny yet genuine which fit the vibe of the MV.

Relieved, I gave Soyeon a hug. "Thank god, I was so scared I messed up the scene."

"Haha you did fine Soojin ah! The only bad thing was the waste of pancakes... I could've eaten them you know!" Soyeon replied back while patting my head in reassurance.

I had another scene with Soyeon where we sat in a hair salon, getting our hair done. This one was easy as I got to hide my face behind a magazine for most of the time. Or so I thought, as Soyeon kept laughing at the big curlers in my hair which made it hard for me to control my laughter too. Eventually, we finished shooting our scenes and she gave me a big hug as thank you for my time.

For the rest of the scenes I wasn't a part of, I sat watching with the cameras and cheered for Soyeon whenever she glanced at me. Honestly, Soyeon's stage presence is crazy good for someone who just debut. She already knows how to control her facial expressions, act out certain feelings, and move her body or create gestures to avoid making the scene look awkward. I'm really so proud of her and happy to debut together with her.

There were quite a few different scenes for this MV and whenever I felt tired or nervous, I would always look for Soojin and her cheers really pushed me to carry on and do my best. In between filming scenes, I would also use the time to come up with ideas for stylising the name and designing our logo. Soojin would sit beside me and give me some ideas too.
