_____________MADDISON BROOKLYN; Madison never considered herself a hopeless romantic. She had never flirted with a boy or desired a boyfriend until she met Colby. Since she was young, Maddison has been residing with her grandma and older sister, Hartley, in the uneventful Texas suburbs where nothing exciting ever occurs. She stopped getting good grades and started acting out since her parents are gone and nobody could help her, not even Hartley. Maddison is rebelling against the code in order to differentiate herself from her overly perfect-sister. Meeting Colby brought about mixed emotions for her. She was unsure whether she should keep her guard up or give in to romantic feelings, knowing that bad luck seemed to follow her wherever she went.
_____________ COLBY MADDEN; Colby, despite having multiple superpowers and being the chosen one, has always felt like an outsider in his own family. It wasn't always this way though - he grew up as the youngest sibling of the greatest supervillains of all time but ended up developing his powers later in life. In his free time, he enjoys skateboarding as a means of releasing his frustration. Colby feels undervalued when he's constantly the target of jokes due to being younger and obtaining his abilities later than others. Colby felt happy when he met Maddison and always wanted to know more about her mysterious qualities. He had been deeply in love with Maddison for a long time but didn't know how to express his feelings.
