when you have a bad dream

You sat up in bed with sweat rolling down your skin as you tried to catch your breath.

Your heart was pounding against your chest and you still felt frightened from the terrible dream that you'd had.

You buried your head in your hands with a shaky sigh and tried to calm down, only to jump as the lamp turned on and a hand gently fell against your back.

"Y/N? Are you okay?" Sana asked worriedly.

You looked at her and then at your other girlfriends, watching as they sat up in bed and rubbed the sleep out of their eyes before looking at you with the same concerned expression that Sana had on her face.

"What's going on?" Momo asked before yawning.

It was only after one in the morning and the last thing you wanted was to disturb your girls and their sleep.

But the dream you had was so bad that you just couldn't help but cling to them as they all gathered around you and gave you their full attention.

Sleep could wait.

You needed them right now and they were going to be there for you.

"Darling, what's the matter?" Mina asked as she saw you tear up.

"I had a nightmare." You said as Momo moved to sit in front of you while Sana and Mina sat beside you, as close as they could get to you.

"Oh, baby, it's okay," Momo said as she caressed your thigh soothingly.

"What was it about?"

You sniffled as you looked at them.

"You got hurt while traveling for the upcoming tour."

"Oh, babe," Mina softly spoke.

"And you didn't," You paused as you began to get choked up on the words you didn't want to say aloud. "You didn't make it."

"Baby, that's never going to happen," Sana said. "We promise you, that's all just one terrible nightmare. One that's never going to come true."

You looked at the three of them with tears in your eyes as they all continued to comfort you.

"I just got so scared because it felt so real."

"Well, it wasn't real, baby. And it never will be." Mina said as she squeezed your shoulder.

"We're all okay, baby, and we will always be okay. It was just a bad dream, that's all." Sana soothed.

They all hugged you and gave you sweet kisses across your head and face, making sure you felt the love they have for you as well as the warmth and security that you so badly needed to feel in that moment.

"I love you so much, all three of you. I don't know what I'd ever do without you."

"You don't ever have to worry because nothing is ever going to happen to us. You're okay and so are we." Mina assured with a little smile.

"Yeah and you're coming on tour with us so you'll know for sure that we're safe and sound at all times," Momo said and you nodded.

"I know. I'm sorry you all woke up because of me. You need your sleep."

"Don't be silly. You need us and we're always going to be here for you when that happens." Sana smiled.

"You always come first, sweet girl. Don't forget that." Mina said.

You hugged them tightly for a moment before pulling away with a shaky breath.

"Think you can go back to sleep?" Momo asked.

"No. Not right now. But you should. I'll go downstairs and occupy myself with some movies."

"Don't be silly," Sana said as she pulled you into her arms.

"Yeah, you're staying right here with us," Momo said.

"And we're going to give you all the cuddles we can." Mina smiled.

You laid back down and they all managed to cuddle you.

"What if I don't fall back asleep?"

"Then we'll stay awake with you," Mina said.

"We should turn on a movie," Sana suggested before she reached for the remote and turned on the tv.

She turned on something you all love and you felt better right away as they showered you with love.

You knew you were safe and sound and you knew they were too and that's all that mattered to you.
