surprising them by speaking Japanese (requested)

Author's Note: I apologize if I got any of these wrong. I did my very best to accurately search and study these phrases but I'm still learning so some of these may be incorrect. I hope you enjoy it either way!

"There she is!" Sana smiled as she watched you come downstairs, making Mina and Momo look over at you.

"Well, hello, sleepyhead. It's almost ten am. You slept in a little." Momo said.

"Good morning, darling," Mina said.

You bit your lip as you walked over to them, noticing that they were getting everything together to make breakfast.

Now seemed like the perfect time to surprise them with the fact that you've been learning Japanese, so you happily replied to them with one of the phrases you learned.

"Ohayou gozamisu," You replied and they looked at you in surprise.

"Did you just say good morning in Japanese to us?" Momo asked as a grin tugged at her lips.

"Hai," You confirmed by saying yes in Japanese.

"Baby! When did you learn Japanese?" Sana asked.

"Well, I figured since I'm dating the three of you and it's an important part of your culture, I should practice it. I've been learning over the last few months and I wanted to surprise you with it." You proudly spoke.

They stared at you with bright eyes and proud expressions.

It meant the entire world to them that you've been spending the last few months working hard on perfecting Japanese phrases because, obviously, it's very important to them.

And surprising them with it like this made it even more special for them.

"What else do you know?" Mina curiously asked.

"A lot." You proudly and excitedly answered. "Of course, the greetings such as Konnichiwa and Genki desu ka."

They listened as you told them hello and asked them how they were in Japanese before looking at each other, feeling so grateful and so overjoyed to hear you speaking their language and so well on top of that.

"And since you've been talking about going to Japan for a few days and taking me along, I tried so hard to perfect some of the important phrases. Like, doko desu ka and ikura desu ka."

In Japanese, that meant where is it and how much does that cost.

"And, of course, kurakura,"

The girls giggled.

"I have a feeling that you knew that one well before you knew some of the others since that's the name of a TWICE song." Mina playfully teased, to which you shrugged your shoulders with a grin.

"I've had so much fun learning. I want to start incorporating it into things we do every day."

"Idesu ne," Sana replied, meaning sounds good in Japanese.

You walked over to them and gave them all a soft kiss on their cheeks before looking into their eyes, watching them sparkle and stare at you adoringly.

"Aishiteru."

I love you.

"Mo aishiteru." They all replied, smiling from ear to ear.

I love you too.

Pulling you into their arms, they squeezed you tightly, feeling their hearts overfill with love and pride.

"Arigato," Mina whispered, softly kissing your head.

"hokori ni omou." Sana and Momo said as they held you a little tighter, telling you again and again in Japanese that they were proud of you.

You would probably never know just how amazing of a surprise this was for them and how much it meant to them.

But you could only hope they know that it means a lot to you as well.

Because you're proud of them and being able to speak their language and respect their culture that is very important to them means everything and more to you.
