as pansy ran up the stairs to our shared dormitory, i stood in front of my closest in panic.
"yes?" she asked, closing the door behind her. "I have a date with George today and I don't know what to wear," I told her as she walked over to the closet.
"Okay, ummm where's your light green sweater?"
"Which one?"
"the one you stole from your uncle's closet."
"Oh wait" I replied and walked over to my trunk to take out the light green sweater I took from uncle regulus. "Here" I handed it over to pansy who kept it on the bed and took out some blue jeans.
"okay there you go" she turned to me. "THANK YOU SO MUCH PANSY I LOVE YOUUU!"
"I love you too, now come on let's do your makeup" she dragged me to our vanity and pushed me on the chair.
as she did my makeup, we talked about so many things. like her and draco, the new gossip, blaise and a ravenclaw named luna lovegood and finally me and george.
"Okay there. now go change." she pushed me into the bathroom, shoving my clothes inside. When I walked out she looked at me and frowned.
"i don't like it." she admitted.
"Girlie, I don't have time for that! what do you mean you don't like it, you chose it!" I started panicking as she walked over to my closet and started going through it again. After about 5 mins of searching she pulled out a green dress I had never seen before and threw it at me.
"What the hell? I've never seen this dress before?" I said as pansy just looked at me confused. "Well it was in your closet. wait check the tag"
"Ohhh birthday present from Hermione," I explained to her. "Well she has good taste. now come on go change, or you'll be late!" she ushered me into the bathroom.

"Where is he?" pansy asked me as we walked to the great hall. "I don't know, maybe he doesn't wanna do this? What if he stood me up? What if it was just a prank? ohmygod!" I gasped, overthinking everything.
"or maybe he's just late?" Pansy suggested. "yea maybe."
"Hey Briar!" George called out walking towards us, I turned to Pansy panicked as she calmed me down. "I'm sorry i'm late, Harry had some problems" he explained, an apologetic expression on his face.
"oh no it's okay" i replied. "Well I'm gonna go now, have fun on your date, bye!" Pansy said walking away, giving us a thumbs up.
"Well, let's go then" George said, giving me his arm as I hooked my arm from under him. "By the way, you look beautiful today," he turned to me, a soft smile on his lips.
"today? Are you saying I don't look beautiful everyday?" I faked being offensive as he immediately started apologising. "No, no that's not what i meant, you look pretty everyday-"
"Then why have you never told me that on a normal day?" I cut him, seeing him get panicked even more.
"oh- well, um i thought it would be awkward and-" he cut off as he saw me laughing, tears brimming at my eyes because of his reaction. "I'm kidding George, I know what you meant. i was just messing with you"
"oh, okay" he replied still a little confused but laughing with me nonetheless. "You look quite handsome yourself," I told him as he smiled and thanked me. "why thank you Mi Amor." i Smiled at him, knowing my cheeks were bright red, as we walked towards the carriages.
As we reached the carriages He helped me get up as I sat besides Luna and George in front of us next to Dean.
