Camp Green Lake

The bus was extremely hot, and the handcuffs were uncomfortable. There was a guard with a rifle laying across his lap seated next to the driver facing towards her. She, not counting the bus driver or guard, was the only passenger on the bus. Her bags were on the seat next to her. She looked out the dirty window. She wondered how long it had been since they were cleaned. probably a few months.
It was about a 6 hour ride to get to the camp. When they got there she noticed how dry it was. The guard came over to her, grabbed her stuff, uncuffed her, and led her off the bus. The guard brought her to a small building. Inside, there was a man in a chair eating what looked like sunflower seeds. He looked up at her. "Oh wow, the legends are true, our first girl." He said. The guard pushed her over to a chair and she sat down.
"My name is Mr. Sir." The man said. Ramona nodded.
Mr. sir told her everything she needed to know, including that there was a shower and changing room built just for her, behind the Wardens cabin. He gave her her suits, shovel, and anything else she would need. Then he checked her back pack and bag before allowing her to keep them. (Yes she had a hidden pocket where she kept the knife, phone, and phone charger) Just then another man came in with a thick black beard.
"Hello I'm Mr. Pendancekey, your counselor. My name is easy to remember because it's three easy words: pen dance key." He said. "Now I would say this isn't a girl scout camp, but you're a girl so..." Mr. Sir said.
Mr. Pendancekey showed Ramona around. Then, she went to the changing room and got in her suite.
She walked over to D tent, and most of the boys were in there. (Yes I know Twitch isn't supposed to be there when Zero and Stanley are there, but it's just for the story 😁)
"Hi I'm X-Ray and this is Squid, Magnet and Zero. This is your cot." Said a boy.
"Yeno why they call him Zero?" Mr. Pendancekey asked.
"Probably because it has something to do with his last name." Ramona said. The other boys started laughing, but she kept a strat face and stared at them which made them stop immediately. "No, but good guess. It's actually because we believe he barely has any words left, and he's about to run out which means he'll have zero!" Mr. Pendancekey said while laughing. The other boys were laughing too.
"Or maybe he's just really stupid." X-Ray said. "That's not something to joke about. If you keep talking, you'll end up in that situation. And just because he doesn't talk doesn't mean he's stupid or doesn't have enough words. Maybe it's because he simply just doesn't like to talk." Ramona said while giving them all death stars.
The boys all fell silent. Zero looked at her, and then looked away.
Ramona heard some voices outside, and then some other boys came in. X-Ray got up and started introducing them, pointing to each one as he went.
"So this is Zigzag, Armpit, Caveman, and Twitch." Ramona nodded.
"So what's your name?" Zigzag asked. "Ramona." She responded.
"Nice." Said X-Ray.
"Alright boys dinner time. Rex, you're Ramona's mentor." Mr. Pendancekey said in an ordering voice.
Ramona followed the boys to the place were they eat. She got her food and went over to the table.
"Hey, Ramona you sit here!" Said Zigzag.
Ramona sat down and started to eat the moosh on her plate. Twitch sat next to her on the left, and X-Ray sat next to her on the right.
"So what'd they get you for?" Magnet asked.
"I'm in the Mafia." Ramona simply answered.
Everyone stopped eating and stared at her. She started back and then went back to eating.
"Most of my family annoyed me so I joined the Mafia and killed them." Ramona counted.
"Who?" Magnet asked.
"My Dad, Mimi, My mom's boyfriend, and my stupid half brother. He was only two." Ramona said all this while she was eating. The boys kept staring at her.
"Then I got jobs from my Mafia boss to kill certain people. It was quite fun. (The boys looked terrified)  Then I got a job to kill the other group of Mafia people that were giving our Mafia gang a run for are money. So we were outside a mall killing them, when the police came and arrested me for all the important people I killed. So yeah, I'm not afraid to kill anyone who pisses me off."
The boys nodded, and went back to eating.
"So you're like a princess who needs everything to go her way." X-Ray said. Ramona looked up.
"What? No. I can take people being mean and stuff."
"A Murderous Princess." Armpit said, completely ignoring what she had just said. Ramona rolled her eyes.
X-Ray sent a look to the other boys and they started laughing.
Ramona finished everything on her trey, and went to take care of her trey. Then she went back to the tent, got out a book, and lied down on her cot.
A few minutes later she heard someone come in but she didn't pay much attention to it.
"You're too young." She heard someone say a few minutes later. She looked up and saw Zero lying down on his cot. His cot was right next to hers on the left.
"For what?" Ramona asked.
"For the Mafia." Zero respond.
"Oh, yeah, I know." She said. "Thanks for sticking up for me." Zero said. Ramona looked at him in surprise. Why was he talking to her? She thought he didn't like talking. "No problem." She said. "If you don't mind me asking, why don't you talk? I know you're not stupid." A small smile crept on his face. "I just don't like answering stupid questions." He responded. "We could get along then." Ramona said with a smile.
"Yeno my name's not Zero." He said. "What is it then?" Ramona asked. "It's Hector Zeroni." "How do you spell that." She asked. Zero shrugged. Ramona got some paper out of her bag and then wrote down Hector. After that she sounded out Zer-o-ni. She wrote it down and looked at it. Her eyes widened. She was right. Zero's nickname did have something to do with his last name. Zeroni. She underlined zero in zeroni. Then she brought the paper over to Zero.
"Look at this." She said
Zero looked at the paper. She pointed it out to him and a big smile appeared on his face. His smile was very contagious. The second he smiled, she did too.
"You were right." He said.
"Here keep it." She said giving him the paper. 
Then they heard some voices coming. Ramona looked out of the tent and saw Caveman, Twitch and X-Ray. They came in, and got on their cots. Twitch's cot was next to hers on the right. Ramona went back to reading.
After a while she looked up from her book. Everyone had left. They probably went to the wreck Room Ramona thought. She went back to reading for about another hour, and then she got sick of the book. She got up and went to her backpack. She pulled out her knife and started examining it. Then she heard voices outside. She didn't think anything of it till all the D tent boys came in. They froze when they saw the knife. Ramona looked at them.
"What are you planning on doing with that?" Armpit asked. He looked terrified.
"Are you going to kill us?!" Squid asked, his voice filled with fear.
"What?! No! Of course not. You haven't even done anything." Ramona said. "See, look." She put the knife back in her back pack, and brought it back to the crate. "There." She said. "I'm not going to kill you. Yet."
The boys seemed to relax a bit. They all went to their cots and started talking.
"None of you all better snore." Ramona said.
"Armpit does." Caveman said. Ramona looked at Armpit. "You better not go to sleep then." She said in a joking voice. Armpit nodded.
Mr. Pendancekey came in.
"Alright kids lights out." He said, while turning the lights out. Ramona lied down. She couldn't help but think how cute Zero and Twitch were. It was very easy for her to form crushes.
No girl stop it. She thought to herself. After a few minutes, she fell asleep.
