Chapter 1

Brian drove to an empty parking lot with Daniel. Brian looked at Daniel with a smile.

"You ready kid" Brian asked

"Always" Daniel responded with a smile.

Brian started the car and he began to drive and he started driving faster and spin the car around and then he stopped.

Shit ! "Brian yelled in frustration as he hit the dashboard."

I think you did great. " Daniel said with a smile. Brian smiles back.

"Thanks Danny. Let's go get some food." Brian started driving away from the parking lot.

Meanwhile Brian is driving a red truck with Daniel in the passenger seat. Brian drove to a parking spot and stopped the car. Brian and Daniel get out of the car and start walking towards the Toretto's Market and Cafe. Mia sees them coming and smiles

"Tuna on white, no crust, and the turkey sandwich for the kid, right ?" Mia asked.

"I don't know. How good are they ?" Brian asked.

"Every day for the last three weeks you've been coming in here and you've been asking me how the tuna is. Now, it was crappy yesterday, it was crappy the day before. And guess what ? It hasn't changed. But the turkey is good for the kid." Mia said.

"I'll have the tuna" Brian said with a smile.

"No crust ? " Mia asked.

"No crust." Brian said.

Mia smiles and starts making the sandwiches. A man the stands to get a drink and he looks at them. Brian looks back at him and Daniel smiles at him and waves at him and the man just smiles back and sits back down. Mia gives Brian and Daniel their sandwiches.

"Thank you" Brian said

"Thanks, Ms. Toretto" Daniel said.

Mia laughs and tells him "You can call me Mia, kid." Daniel nods at her. And looks at magazine with cars.

"These are nice cars" Daniel said. Mia looks at the magazine and smiles at Daniel. "You have good taste kid." Mia tells him. " Thanks Mia" Daniel said. Then they hear cars coming and they parked near the shop. The first person who came out of their car was a woman wearing sunglasses. The second person was a man who had a tooth pick in his mouth. The third person was a man with a beard.

"Talk to me, Jesse. This ain't working, brother." Vince said. "It's your fuel map. It's got a nasty hole. That's why you're unloading in third" said Jesse. "I told you it was third." said Leon. "Shut up." Said Vince "I'd lengthen the injector pulse another millisecond, and just tune the NOS timer, you'll run nines."said Jesse. Vince looked in another direction and turned Jesse towards the right, and they see a red truck. Vince has a look of annoyance as he turns around and sees Brian and Daniel talking to Mia. " What's up with these fools ? What are they, sandwich crazy ?" Vince asked. "No, V. They ain't here for the food, dog." Leon tells Vince. "Chill out, bro. He's just slinging parts for Harry, man. And the kid is just helping." Letty defends the two boys. " I know what he's slinging " Vince tells her. "He's trying to get in Mia's pants, dog." Leon announced. The crew walks into the shop. "What's up, guys ?" Mia greets them "How you doing, Mia ?" Jesse responded. " How you living, girl ? " Letty greeted. Letty walks towards Dom. "Hey, Dom. You want something to drink ?" Dom raises a can of soda to show that she has a drink. Vince sits next to Brian giving him a glare but Brian looks at him but Daniel feels a little intimidated. "He's beautiful" Jesse says. "I like his haircut" Leon tells Jesse. "Vince." Mia calls but he doesn't respond. "Vince !" Mia repeats louder and Vince looks at her. "What ?" Vince asked. " Can I get you anything ? " Mia asked. "You look good" Vince responded. Brian put money on the counter. " Thanks for the sandwiches, Mia. We'll be back tomorrow. Come on, Danny. Let's go".  Brian walks away and Daniel follows him. "Tomorrow ?" Vince whispers.

"Yo!" Vince yelled. "How about you try Fat Burger from now on. You get yourself and the kid Double Cheese with fries for 2.95, faggot." Vince said. "I like the tuna here." Brian said. "That's bullshit, asshole. No one likes the tuna here." Vince replied. " Yeah, well, I do." Brian said. Then Vince shoves Brian to the truck while Danny looks at Vince shocked. Brian turns around punched Vince in the face and then lunges at Brian. Mia watches them with shock and Letty looks at them with a look of annoyance. Mia rushes over to Dom. "Jesus Christ, Dom ! Would you get out there please ? I'm sick of this shit !" Dom doesn't move which causes Mia to get more annoyed. " I'm not kidding, Dom ! Get out there !" Mia yells. Dom gets turns around and sees Brian and Vince fighting. Dom smiles at Mia. "What did you put in that sandwich" Dom asked. "That's really funny." Mia said sarcastically. "Dom ! One of them could accidentally hit the kid." Letty says with concern. Dom looks and sees Danny standing looking scared. "Alright." Dom said.

Brian and Vince continue fighting while Dom goes to break up the fight. Brian gains the upper hand and starts punching Vince, but Dom pulls him off throws on the hood of a car. Brian puts his hands up in defense. "Hey man, he was in my face." Brian said. "I'm in your face." Dom said. Vince tries to fight Brian but Dom pushes him back. "Relax ! Don't push it ! You embarrass me !" Dom yelled. Leon pushes Vince away. "Get over there." Leon said. "Jesse, give me the wallet." Dom said. Jesse gives him Brian's wallet and he examines the driver's license. "Brian Earl Spilner. That's sounds like a serial killer name is that what you are ?" Dom asked. "No, man." Brian answered. "Don't come around here again." Dom tells him. "Hey man, you know this is bullshit." Brian tells him. Dom turns around and faces Brian again. "You work for Harry right ?" Dom asked. "Yeah, I just started." Brian answered. "You were just fired" Dom tells him and walks away. Daniel looks at Brian. "How is that fair ?" Daniel asked. Brian shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know, Danny. Come on, let's get to the truck and head to Harry's" Brian said. Daniel nodded and entered the truck with Brian and they drove away to The Driver's Edge.
