Someone once told me that family was the most important thing in the world. I grew up living mostly on my own even when I had my parents around. I never understood why people always talked about family. To me it was nothing more than an excuse to do something good and feel good about yourself.
I was wrong.
The past few months have been better than most of my life. I've gained a family of my own, and I don't plan to lose them any time soon.
