when they got off the train, they excitedly walked around the city in awe. Then they got to the police station, the were greeted by a silly cheetah. 

"Hello, we are here to sign up for training to be In the police force." Judy stated. The cheetah stopped eating his donuts, and smiled. 

"Alrighty! What are your names?"

"Judy and..." she looked over at Nik, making him snap back to reality from staring at her. 

"Nik." The cheetah typed their names into his laptop.

"Alright I will schedule an appointment with the chief."

"Thank you!" Judy beamed. Nik blushed at her infectious smile. 

"You know it's very cool to sign up for the same job as a couple. That must be so fun!!" The cheetah smiled and put his hands on his cheeks.

"WHAT WH- WE ARENT...!" Nik and Judy both blurted out blushing. The cheetah started to giggle. 

"Oh sorry my bad!! anyway thanks for stopping by." Judy and Nik smiled awkwardly, and left. 

They had the rest of the day to themselves, so they decided to go see the apartments in which they would live in. They ended up being neighbors, which led to Nik inviting Judy over for dinner. Judy accepted and Nik spent the rest of the afternoon cooking and cleaning for her arrival. He ended up making very good cheesy fettuccine and cut up some carrots as a side dish.

He brushed his hair and put on his best clothes. He was ready.
