Knife through the heart- a sadly ironic title .

Y/N POV

"Wh... What?" I asked, confused and shocked at what Alois said. " Now that you hate me, you'll be taken away by one of these boys, and live happily ever after. But if i kill you... Then no one gets you but me." He said, eyes growing dark.

"Claude..." He said. the butler nodded and Came at me with a sword. I Couldn't move. "Y/N!" I heard voices shout. then in a flash, the knife cut through skin. But it wasn't mine.

I Shut my eyes waiting for the impact of pain to rock my body, but it never came. I opened my eyes and saw Hikaru standing infront of me, sword sticking out of his back. my eyes widened in shock and fear as he fell to my feet in slow motion.

"H-Hikaru..." I Mumbled. "Y-Y-Y/N......." He coughed out, gasping for breath like a fish on land. Tamaki,Honey and Mori appeared around the corner and ran up to Hikaru, along with Kaoru, Who I moved aside for.

"K..Kaoru... Please don't be sad or any-t-thing... I'm Always gonna be apart of you...Everything will be f-fine. I promise.Okay?" Kaoru started to cry onto mori, as did Honey. " Y/N, You're such..... Such a beautiful girl... I Hope you marry a guy that treats you like a queen... I Would have, but i think it's to late f-for me..." He stuttered out the message to me.

"Take this." He said, reaching into his pocket and pulling out his old flip phone. "W-why?" I asked inbetween tears. "It has your... Favorite song on...it......" His voice slowly got quieter and his breath raspier and shakier until finally, it stopped all together, and his hand went numb in mine.

Hikaru Hitatiin Was gone.

Just then, the phone he handed me went off. "H-Hello?" I mannaged to say. "Oh Hello dear! Is Hikaru around? It's his mom. I need to ask him his pant size for a photo shoot when he and his brother come back home." My eyes widened. 'How do you tell a mother her teenage son just died literally seconds ago in your arms trying to protect you?' i thought to myself.

"W-well mame.......H...He just passed away....... He took a knife through the heart to protect me...." I sobbed into the phone.there was a long silence. "O-Oh...Well......Oh....." She said before a burst of sobs could be heard on the other line. i hung up the phone. "Well, Claude, you imbesile, you killed the wrong person." Alois said, annoyed. "Well, someone close to her died, so I guess thats good enough for now." He said before walking away, none of us following. I Don't know what happened next, but I Passed out. "I'm Sorry Pika-chan..." Was all I said before my world turned black.

------------------dreamland----------------- I'm sitting under a Sakura tree, Hikaru's favorite type of plant. I stared down at a grey slab of concrete with a small angel statue on it. it read " Hikaru Hitatiin. Brother, Host, Friend. Loved by all. C.O.D- Stab wound."

I Dropped to my knees crying. "I'm So S-sorry Hikaru!!" I Yeled out into the silence. "This is all my fault... If I didn't need you to protect me you'd still be alive."

"Please tell me you aren't really thinking that." A familliar voice said behind me. I turned around and saw Hikaru smiling at me. "H-Hikaru?" I asked, a few more tears dripping down my cheeks. "That's me." He said smiling lopsidedly giving me a peace sign. "I'm so sorry.." I grabbed him into a tight embrace.

"Hey, hey, why would you apologize? I chose to save you. If i didn't, what kinda person would i be?" He laughed , causing me to as well. "I'm Gonna miss you..." I said to him. "Hey, i'll always be with you, Kaoru , and the rest of the hosts. Don't forget that. Otherwise i might scare you if i pop up randomly. Actually... that would be a good prank..." He said, smiling. suddenly a bright light appeared behind Hikaru. "I Have to go, but I promise, you'll see me again." He said, holding my hand. "P-Please.... Don't leave me..." I Sobbed. The light sucked him in as his grip on my hand loosened. "I won't leave you. ever." He said, Kissing my hand. "You'll See, when your hand starts to sting-" He was cut of as he was dragged compleatly into the light. After he was gone, I was alone under the Sakura, Now the sky dark. "I'll see you soon, Hikaru."

-------------Y/N POV--------------- I woke up in Kaoru's arms. He was carrying me."K-Kaoru?" I asked. He looked down and smiled. "You okay?" He asked. I nodded. "Did you see him?" He asked. "Who?" I asked. "Hikaru." A soft smile appeared on my lips. "Yea." He looked ahead where the rest of the group was, now Haruhi and Kyoya were here. "Wait.... Did you see him to?" "Yea, I passed out after you, but i woke up before you. So i figured i should carry you." He said. "Kaoru? Do you hate me now?" I asked, looking down. "What?! Why would I?" He asked confused. "Well, I'm pretty much the reason your brother just .... yea..." He looked me dead in the eye. " It wasn't you, It was something He did. He jumped infront of you because he would rather die knowing you lived a happy life, then living and having to live with the fact that you died when he could have saved you."

"T...Thanks Kaoru." I said. "Your a good person." "Thanks, Y/N." We reached Ciel's mansion where we saw the group, including Kyoya, Crying. " Hey, Y'all know he is still here, just not physically. We know." Kaoru said. i nodded. "When we passed out, he talked to us and told us that he's not leaving us." I grasped my hand. It Hurt. that made me smile. "He's close by right now." I said smiling. "How can you tell?" Tamaki asked sniffeling.

"He Kissed my hand and told me something would happen whenever my hand starts to sting." I looked around. I saw a Sakura tree about 50 yards away with a certain orange haired boy in it. "See?He's over there." I pointed to the tree. Everyone gasped. Hikaru waved at us before a swarm of pink petals swirled around his form and by the time they moved, Hikaru wasn't there anymore.everyone smiled softly as tears dripped from their face. " See you again soon, Pikachu." I said softly.
