Chapter 1

I groaned out in annoyance from hearing my stupid alarm as a result I knocked it off the table.

I sit up, today's Monday and one of my least favorite days including Friday. I took my shower putting on my clothes. "Hanuel!" my annoying older brother says coming into my room, "What do you want Hamin?" I ask "come down for breakfast" he says in a sickly sweet tone. "Sure thing" I reply to fake tone. He shoots me a fake smile which I gladly respond to.

I go down for breakfast mom made a typical breakfast tea and toast. After this Hamin gives me a ride to school.

I say bye walking to the school building my best friend Kim Jin-ae jumps in excitement "hey hey hey" she says panting. "What happened?"

"New boys" pant "in our" pant "class" she says. "Really?" I question with fake amusement and let out a sigh. "Of all the things to be excited about and you chose boys" I shake my head.

We head to class, I take my seat next to the window listening to music on my phone when the door opens and guy with white hair storms in. his eyes search furiously and meet with mine. Then walks over to the seat next to mine dropping his bag then sliding into the seat. I look at him through narrowed eyes. The teacher Mr. Hwang calls him to introduce himself "I'm Bang Christopher Chan"

I take notes of the things written one the board waiting for the class to come to an end barely acknowledging his presence.

My pencil rolls off my table and I bent to pick it up and hit my forehead on the table causing me to groan loudly.

Chris lets out a muffled laugh, I pick it up glaring but he just brushes it off.

Next I have biology honestly this if probably the worst subject in the world I'd drop it but I can't.

Throughout the class I'm spacing out not bothered about shit the teacher is saying. I also have this subject alone, no Jin-ae so I end up falling asleep.

After the class I'm leaving when the teacher calls me back, "yes?" I turn to her. "Hanuel I noticed you sleeping in class why is that?"

"It's uh because I haven't been getting enough sleep" she nods and then dismisses me letting me go for lunch. I take my tray of food sitting with Jin-ae listening to her nonstop chatter about an Australian boy in her class who is her seat partner 'Lee Felix'

She looks off and I turn being met with Chris' intense gaze. The fuck?

Next I have history.

In class we talk about the Joseon dynasty, I can feel Chris's eyes on me most of the class boring holes into my neck. I look back mouthing 'what?'

He smirks cocking an eyebrow, I shrug "he's weird" I mutter. "Hmm what was that" a deep voice says behind me. "What the fuck" I say pushing him. "Take it easy babe" he says, I thought it was Chris but when I looked back I saw Daehyun groaning. Glancing at Chris I see him balling up a piece of paper causing me to frown at him. He only smirks and I shake my head.

After school I met up with Jin-ae who surprisingly had Felix walking next to her while me? I'm walking on my own munching on a chocolate bar.

"Lix!" someone yells. Felix stops moving "hey Chan hyung" I scrunch up my face. "What kind of nickname is licks?"
