five

day two in jeju

"rise and shine~" hanbin hums and he knocks outside my door. i wake up immediately from excitement. i didn't get much sleep but that doesn't stop me from waking up so fast.

"i'm awake!" i shout. i quickly get dressed. i look at myself in the mirror and jump, my face looked so swollen. i run downstairs to grab ice to help the puffiness but they're all melted.
yeonjun walks downstairs with a puffy face as well.

"uhm yeonjun... there's no more ice" i say
yeonjun opens the freezer and grabs two frozen metal spoons and gives one to me. he uses the other frozen spoon and puts it on his face to help the puffiness.

"you're a life saver." i say. yeonjun nods his head and walks back upstairs. he's clearly not awake yet.

i rub the cold spoon all over my face and go back upstairs to do my skincare and makeup.

everyone meets downstairs by the couch.
"where are you taking us yeonjun?" sooyoung asks. yeonjun smiled. "we're going to go fishing on my boat" he says.

"that will be so much fun!" sooyoung says
"we can swim in my pool after" yeonjun smiled
"sounds like fun! let's go guys" hanbin cheered.

we jump into the jeep and allow yeonjun to drive us to where he kept his boat. we arrive in a nice looking boat parking lot where yeonjun shows us around to his boat. his boat was amazing, it had an upstairs and downstairs.

"yeonjun how loaded are you?!" i blurt out without thinking. henry pinches my arm as he gives me the "shut up!" look. i cover my mouth when i realized what i said. yeonjun smiles.
"i have successful parents, this all belongs to them but they're living in newyork temporarily for business. so they left all of this to me" he says

"i'm sorry for asking" i say awkwardly.
"don't apologize! i get it, i would be shocked too." he smiled. yeonjun seems like such a sweet guy, seems like nothing can ever make him upset.

we all get on the boat and yeonjun shows us a bag full of snacks. "there better not be alcohol in there... i don't wanna know what happens when you guys drink in the middle of the ocean..." i snort. yeonjun laughed "you guys were dead yesterday" yeonjun says

"yeonjun let's not talk now... you should've seen yourself yesterday too" i laughed. yeonjun looked shocked. "oh my god. what did i do?" he asked
i smiled and began to explain how he was acting.
yeonjun looked so embarrassed but he laughed along.

"i fell asleep on your shoulder?!" he cringed as he facepalmed. "hey at least she didn't have to carry you all the way to your room like she usually does to everyone" henry makes a point. yeonjun smiles
"whatever guys, let's go fishing" yeonjun says as he starts the boat.

sooyoung sits down next to yeonjun and jokes around with him as we make it further into the ocean. henry and hanbin sits next to me.
"what kind of fishes are even out here?" hanbin asks . i shrug my shoulders, im too distracted by how pretty the waves looked, how they sparkled.

yeonjun brought out four fishing rods for us and gives a quick lesson on how to properly fish.
yeonjun ends up getting a small fish in under five minutes.

"i brought you guys to the beat spot for fishing, so i wouldn't be surprised if you catch one right away. i got lucky just now" he informs us
as soon as i feel something tugging on my fishing line, i start to reel whatever i got in. i grown as soon as i see what i caught.

"a clump of seaweed! amazing catch mia" yeonjun pokes at me , and i annoyingly roll my eyes at him. hanbin and sooyoung laugh at me.
"at least i caught something!" i shout to my friends laughing at me. their fishing rods have been still for the past 15 minutes.

yeonjun smiles like he's trying not to laugh too.
i grab the piece of seaweed and throw it to yeonjun. he laughs as he catches it and throws it back to me. for another five minutes we all end up throwing the seaweed around. everyone bursting out into laughter.

"guys!! my fishing rod is moving!" henry shouts
everyone gathers around to see what kind of catch henry got. "i hope it's a boot" i snarl
sooyoung giggled as she agrees with me.
henry seems to be struggling to reel in the catch.
yeonjun steps in to help.

yeonjuns strong muscles and broad shoulders looked even more impressive as he managed to reel the fish in almost effortlessly. i caught myself staring at him a bit more than usual. has he always been this handsome or am i going insane?

yeonjun grabs the fish that henry caught, it was pretty big. everyone cheered for henry as he got a pretty big catch. we eventually tossed the fish back into the sea and kept trying to get more.

the way the boat was rocking started to make me feel sick to my stomach.. i think i was getting seasick. i set down next to sooyoung who looked pale. "are you getting sick too?" i ask her and she nods her head.

"you guys look as white as a ghost" hanbin notices. henry worries as he quickly goes to bring us water. "i'll turn the boat back around and we can go home" yeonjun worries.

sooyoung stands up and looks like she's about to throw up. she goes to the edge of the boat and starts to throw up, henry and hanbin immediately go to help her. yeonjun starts taking the boat back.

i felt like throwing up too, so i walked to the other side of the boat. yeonjun ran to me and held my hair back as i threw up on the other side of the boat.

"i'm sorry yeonjun... hopefully we don't your boat dirty.." i groaned. yeonjun kept a worried look on his face. "don't worry about my boat, worry about yourself" he worried. he tried his best to keep my long hair back while i threw up.

once i finished throwing up, i sat down next to the edge of the boat. yeonjun left me for a second and came back with a cold wet towel and another waterbottle.

"drink this" he said as he handed over the water bottle. he sits down next to me and dabs the cold towel on my forehead. i was embarrassed so my head kept tilting downwards.

"look at me" yeonjun says as he grabs my face and moves it closer to him. we were face to face seems like only i noticed how close he and i were.
yeonjun was too focused on keeping my head cold. something about him worrying so much about others was so attractive to me. seeing him from up close like this made my heart flutter. i've never really felt like this before.

hanbin walked towards and coughed.
"hate to break this up... but is there any more water?" hanbin says, interrupting our little moment. yeonjun finally snaps and realizes how close we were , i could see his face blushing, he immediately jumps out of his seat and goes to grab a water for hanbin.

time passes by and yeonjun was parking his boat.
we all get out of the boat, hanbin helped sooyoung off the boat and henry helped me get off.

"i'm so sorry we made you guys turn around" i said. "it's ok mia, it's not your fault. i got a big catch and that's all that matters" henry joked
i roll my eyes sarcastically at him.

we end up driving back to yeonjuns vacation home. "let's jump in the pool instead guys" yeonjun says. "let's go!" hanbin cheered.
