I walked to school in silence. It was unusually quiet on my way to school. I sighed softly, walking into the school building. I walked To my locker, noticing every one staring at me. Why were they staring at me? Did I look different? What? What was wrong with me?
Then a girl walked by me, mumbling, "Slut," and went on. My brow furrowed. Slut? Why that? Why couldn't it be something like, "Beautiful!" I rolled my eyes, getting my stuff out and shutting my locker.
Just then the boy with spiky blonde hair walked up to me. "Hi!" He greeted me cheerfully. "Uh, hi." I answered, holding my books awkwardly. He took them from me. "Could I walk you to your first class?" He asked. I smiled. "That would be nice." I answered, smiling. We walked to my class together while chatting.
Sasuke walked by us, giving a "Hmph.." As he went along. I smiled and watched after him. "Hey Sasuke!" The boy yelled after Sasuke. "You know Sasuke too?" I asked him. He smiled. "Me and Sasuke are best friends!" He answered.
"Oh really?" I asked. "But your like two completely different people! How could you possibly get along?" I asked.
He shrugged. "We just do. Why?" He asked. I shrugged. "I just didn't realize you two were so close." He smiled. "Well you do now!" He walked into class with me, putting my books down, then saying, "Goodbye" and leaving.
I smiled and looked at Sasuke. He glanced at me and I looked away quickly. "Sasuke..." I mumbled quietly under my breath.
