Finding Adeline

I open my eyes frantically as I hear yelling from downstairs, the sun which isn't fully up hits my eyes making me close them quickly, "God!" I yell out for only me to hear, after a second I realize it's just Dudley arguing with his parents.

What a great way to start my day, I thought getting up from the single bed I look to the very corner of my room, seeing my brothers bed which is empty.

I make my way quicky downstairs, bumping into the person who woke me up "Watch where you are going little mermaid!". He spat in my face, what a funny way to address my red hair it's just like moms "Whatever." I respond quickly dismissing him.

Walking into the kitchen I see harry making some breakfast, I smile at him ever since he turned 7 he has been taking care of me, its not like my aunt and uncle didn't  really care anyways, "Hey there sleepy head" he says ruffling my red hair "What are you making" I utter to him the sleep still on my eyes "Your favourite, bacon just how you like it too" at that my eyes lighten up, "you can sit down its almost ready" with that I sat down on the wooden chair, as harry placed the plate in front od me.

I look up at my brother as we arrived at the 9¾ platform, "Where is the train harry" I ask him confused instead of answering,he just laughs at me as if I am delusional or seeing ghosts, before I can say anything else the Weasley family arrives next to us Ron, Fred, George and Ginny I know both of Harrys friends since he talks about so many adventures with them.

Harry hugs Ron and says hello to the rest of them" This is my sister, Adeline she's new here as a second year", he says knowing I don't like strangers they all greet me ,I can feel a blush creeping up my face "You should go first harry" the only girl which I assume is Ginny says to harry smiling, weird "Go where" I say quietly, the blush only getting more intense "To the train to Hogwarts obviously" says one of the ginger twins.

"Just go through the wall really fast Adeline, don't worry" harry states, through the wall!, is my brother mad" come on harry don't do that to the girl, I'll show you" Ron says as he gets ready to get a concussion, oh great another crazy one.

I close my eyes as he walks through the mysterious wall, just to open them a few seconds later when I don't hear the sound of impact "See nothing happened, go on ill follow you" harry says once again, I close my eyes again my legs walking on their own, a few seconds later I hear many voices talking at once as I open my eyes I make impact with a hard wall "oh!" my body says on its own, wait since when are walls so warm and moving just as I think that a hand makes it way on my back catching me.

"Are you okay?" the "wall" says a cold but also comforting voice, "oh yeah...thanks.." I look at his grey eyes I have never seensuch a beautiful eye color and blonde almost white hair paired with sharp features, I steady myself but he doesn't let go" what's your name?, I hav enever seen you around here." he asks while scanning me up and down "I'm Adeline, you?" I feel the blush coming back again this time 2 times harder as Ifeel his hand still on my back," Draco, Draco Malfoy." he looks down at me ashe does that I notice his huge frame" Adeline what are you doing?" my brother asks angrily, why would he be angry it's just some boy.

"Potter what's your problem." he says shotting daggers at him, as he says that he lets go of me I miss the touch immediately," Don't ever talk to my sister again Malfoy or ill fuck you up." harry states fire in his eyes, oh oh "Sister? Since when do you have a sister potter." he asks shocked before harry can respond Ron pulls him back" He's not worth it." harry seems to get himself together at that, I am lost for words.

Draco looks at me a little bit softly at me as harry pulls me back from the other boy, and pulls me hardly into the train suddenly it roars as its time to drive away, "What was that harry?" I ask confused and shocked every emotion bubbling inside me" What was that?! That was Malfoy the most rotten person at Hogwarts just a rich spoiled brat." he yells like I am at fault.

I feel the tears get into the corners of my eyes but I stop them from falling "But he seemed nice and, how was I supposed to know" I say "Whatever, just don't talk to him again he's a bad person." just as he says that Hermione a smart, bright witch peps her head from one of the compartments" Guys I saved you a seat come one." she says happy to see her friends "come on people keep moving!" Ron says excited to see his "friend" but I know there are some feeling there.

"Come on Adeline." Harry speaks sorrow in hiseyes, I follow into the  compartmentwhich already has Ron and Hermione inside. For the first time since I walkedinto the train I notice the warm atmosphere inside with the red ceiling and funky colored  carpet,I sit down next to harry as the other seat is occupied by his two friends" Oh you must be Adeline,I am Hermione it's nice to have another girl here." she smiles warmly I respondwith the same expression I notice the ginger coloured cat in her arms "Who is that?" I ask looking at the cat" This is Crookshanks my beautiful little kitten." she said the last part in a baby voice which the cat enjoyed" More like an evil disgusting creature." Ron said while making a disgusted face, at that Hermione hit him across the head which made Ron yelp harry and me laughed at their bickering.

About an hour has passed when I feel the need to go to the bathroom," Harry." I whisper as Hermione and Ron are sleeping on the other side he hums at me "Where is the bathroom." I say "It's just a little down to the left you should find it easily." he matches my whisper I nod and get up closing the door behind as quietly as possible, taking Harrys advice I walk to the left on my way there I look in to one of the compartments and see a group of boys, but what really gets my attention is the blond hair one who's name I learned is Draco, or Malfoy as my brother says.

I also catch his attention as he looks straight at me, although it lasts a second it felt like a good 30. I walk a few steps further closing myself in the small bathroom, 2 minutes later I walk out as I turn around I am met with a pair of curious grey eyes "You're a potter?" he asks but not the same way he asked my brother this time its soft and comforting, I just want to drown in those words.

"Yes, my last name is potter.." I say slowly afraid he'll get mad like at my brother, he nods "You don't look alike." he says "popping" the last word his eyes staring straight at mine "Yeah...well I look more like my mum and he looks like dad." I say carefully not to anger him, "Well Adeline I'll see you at Hogwarts, hope you're in Slytherin." he takes a moment to look me in the eyes and with that leaves to his compartment, what a weird guy with that thought I went back to my own compartment as Hogwarts was only 20 minutes away.
