The familiar beeping, the string smell of cleaning solutions, the sound of shoes tapping on the hard tile floor. I slowly opened my eyes to see my kitten watery eyes and a big smile, holding my hand as she sat on the edge of my bed. She held my hand to her face and I rubbed her cheek with my thumb. "You've been out for four years baby, echo died on impact of the car accident, and because of the accident, it threw me into early labor. We have a four year old daughter. Her name is Bella."
