I have no idea what to call this chapter soooo...

MK pov
I was sitting in a nearby bench near one of the fountains at my favorite park. I go to this park a lot to relax and jog my mind off of things. It's one of the most peaceful places I've been to, it really has a peaceful atmosphere. I love the feeling of the fresh air hitting your face as you walk by the gates, even small breezes feel nice when you walk through here.
This morning I walked by to start sketching, I brought my headphones and was all set to relax. Yesterday was so busy at Pigsy's, I'm glad I got a break today.. if I did anymore orders I was for sure gonna pass out from exhaustion or something- not to sound all dramatic...

Mk started sketching in his notebook as his mind faded somewhere else or rather thinking of someone. As strange as it sounds, he's been thinking about a certain person this past week and it's been bothering him lately.
No matter how much he tried to do to distract himself from them, they would always slip into his mind.
He hated how stubborn his mind was but eventually just let it happen. Every time he thinks of this certain person he feels tingling in his stomach, it didn't take long for him to notice he had gained feelings to a certain...

Mk finally snapped back to reality after a while of zoning out. He looked down at what he drew and paused. It was Redson. He hadn't even realized he was sketching Redson up until now. The sketch had so many details, the flames in his hair seeming life like and the scar below his eye near his cheek... his whole face looked like you could touch it.
Mk quickly noticed what he was thinking and quickly turned the page, he felt his face getting hotter as it rose and spread across his entire face. He shoved his face in his jacket to hide the remaining blush left on his face as he continued a new sketch.

Red woke up from a strong chilly breeze that hit him. The whole night he tried getting more heat from the thin leather jacket he had but didn't get any more than what he had. He felt so dizzy once he sat up and looked around trying to figure out where he was. Suddenly all the memories from last night came pouring in. Red slowly realized where he was and why.
He started warming himself up starting a small fire with his hands keeping himself some-what warm with the heat he could give himself.
Red got up from the bench he was on and started walking around the park to get himself pumped with energy. He had to find a place to stay soon.

Red looked down at his feet as he paced around the park, he saw a fountain in the distance.
Red slowly approached this beautiful white water fountain while sitting on the ground next to it. The water looked so fragile. Ripples coming from the splashing water as it slowly seeped from the top, flowing to the bottom. Red took in what he was seeing and it truly calmed him down. He never knew he could feel this calm looking down at water. He loved the way it came crashing to the bottom, yet kept its flow.
As he kept staring at the water he saw a flower petal falling from one of the trees above and landing on top the water. It gently flowed down and floated on the crystal clear water, creating small ripples as it landed.

Red slowly got back on his feet and started walking to the other side of the fountain and froze. He couldn't believe what he was looking at and kind of panicked. He saw MK! He was sitting on a bench in front of the fountain and was too busy drawing to even notice Red staring at him. Red felt his legs tremble seeing his... frenemy, if that's what you call it, HERE at the same park.
He couldn't let Mk see him! If he did he would start barging into his life and start asking questions and then he will find out he ran away from home and would probably and most definitely take him home! Redson isn't taking that risk and slowly and carefully turned around while trying to tip-toe away from Mk. But that didn't seem to work because right then and there he heard someone behind him

"Red? What're you doing here?"
Red painfully turned around as he came face to face with the monkie kid. Mk.
Red let out a loud groany sigh as he glared at Mk and folded his arms. "I actually came for a walk. Now leave me alone Noodle boy." Of course Mk would not leave him alone, he knew deep down that wasn't the real reason. "I need the REAL reason Redson. *gasp* Are you gonna attack the city? Why are you really here for?" Mk said in a some-what yelling tone while getting into a defense stance. Red just rolled his eyes at the paranoid boy and turned around to walk away. But sadly he couldn't as Mk grabbed his arm and pulled him in front of his gaze again.
"Where are you going, I'm not done talking!"
"Well I am, now leave me alone" Red snapped back at him while pulling his arm out of Mk's hands. Red wanted to walk away but something held him back.

He stood in front of Mk silent a bit shocked that he pulled him back. Mk quickly noticed what he did and his face flushed pink before he started apologizing profusely to the demon prince. Redson wanted to shout at him but his tongue was held back, this confused him since he knew he would be screaming at Mk by now, but he wasn't.
They both stared at each other in silence before Mk broke the silence between them. "Why are you really here Red..." He said in a hushed tone while stuffing his hands in the pockets of his jacket. Red stayed silent for a moment, contemplating.
Should he tell him? No. But he needs a place to stay.. maybe he could ask the noodle boy to stay at his place. But- he wouldn't let Redson stay at his apartment! They are enemies.
Thoughts and excuses kept coming into Redson's head but he soon snapped out of his trance and looked back at Mk who was patiently waiting for an answer. Redson couldn't just... NOT tell him. Mk could help him... Redson hated how his brain worked sometimes but he finally decided to just tell Mk what had been happening.

"WHAT. YOU RAN AWAY?" Mk yelled suddenly as Red finished telling him the events that unfolded last night. "Stop screaming noodle brains" Redson said in an annoyed tone as he stared off at the ground.
There was an awkward pause between them, Red thought he could take this moment to ask the noodle boy if he had any room for him to perhaps stay a day or two but Mk spoke up first. "Do you need a place to stay?" Red definitely wasn't expecting that and stared at Mk with wide eyes. Redson quickly shook his head "Yeah... you don't mind, right?" He asked with a sort of uneasy tone as he felt his cheeks heat up while asking that question. He didn't know why but that question honestly felt a bit embarrassing. "Of course not! If anything it'll be great with you around since Pigsy and Tang are on a trip with Sandy." Mk stated with excitement in his voice, he sure couldn't wait for Redson to be his roomie for a couple a days.

After a while of chatting with each other and walking back to the noodle shop they both stopped in front of the shop as Mk tried finding the keys to the doors. Mk fumbled around for a bit before taking keys out of his pocket and unlocking the front doors of the noodle shop before ushering Red inside. "My room is upstairs on the right. Do you want something to eat?" Red looked around the shop a bit before answering "not hungry but thanks for the offer" He said while walking to one of the booths and sitting down. Mk looked over at Red and saw his shoulders go limp as he started relaxing and getting cozy. Mk smiled softly at this and walked up to red "thirsty at least?" Red looked at him for a while before answering. "chamomile tea or green tea." Red said before resting his head on the table and letting a long tired sigh out. Mk nodded and went to the kitchen upstairs to make his tea.

Mk came downstairs after he finished making his tea and saw Red taking a nap. Mk put his cup on the table before nudging Red a bit to wake him up "Reeeeeed.. Your tea is ready." Red groaned a bit before sitting back up with dragging eyes. He looked at Mk before plastering a confused look on his face. "Your tea? Your cha-muh-mo... tea?" "Chamomile. And thank you." Red said before slowly taking the cup and started taking sips. Mk stared at Red sipping his tea and sat down beside him. Red looked at Mk a tad bit confused but he honestly didn't mind and continued drinking his tea. Mk brought out his sketchbook, facing away from Redson, Red didn't mind and enjoyed the silence between them. Red slowly started getting tired and asked Mk where his room was. Mk told him it was upstairs on the right.

Redson eventually went to Mk's room upstairs where he said it was. He looked at his messy room and groaned, every time he looked at a different spot there would be a mess. How could someone be responsible with such power and not even have enough energy to clean their own room. Red sighed and decided he had plenty of time to clean up the messy room in front of him, he swore to himself that he would try to sleep after cleaning up. Red started tidying up his small desk and dressers as he slowly moved to the floors and then his bed. (I don't want to write a whole paragraph of him cleaning so we're skipping that) Red collapsed on the bed and shut his eyes, tired from cleaning the noodle boys messy room. He felt his heart hit his chest quickly as he catched his breath and raised a hand to wipe the sweat from his forehead as he slowly starting dazing off.
