"Darling!"

She shouted before she dashed to hug him.
Surprised, he is. He didn't expect to see her after a few weeks later.

"Kimura-san, I thought you'd come to visit in a few weeks." He comfortably melted on to her embrace.

"Mou, You're so formal. Don't worry my parents aren't here and gosh you're so stubborn how many times do I have to tell you that you don't have to call me by my last name." She sighed.

Flustered from her words yet he still covered his face on her neck.

"Don't be so rash, Y/n."

"Hah? says the one hugging me carelessly in public."

His body froze as he realized how comfortably close they were.

"... Let me enjoy this."

She chuckled before she tries to let go of the embrace. He let out a little whine and held her hand gently instead.

"Let's walk through the garden! I saw some newly fresh flowers that the gardeners planted." She tugged him and walked through his mansion's garden.

Walking on a wooden bridge as they pass by the multicoloured flowered bushes and sunset tulips, the scene sounds peaceful as it looks. The smell of fresh watered soil fills their lungs.
They walked in comfortable silence.

"MUZAN!"

I woke up to the sound of her scream. I sit back up and looked around my surrounding.

I wasn't in the garden anymore. I'm in my room feeling weak.

"Thank the heavens you have finally woken up, Kibutsuji-sama." The doctor said from across the room.

He comes over to take off the damp cloth that sticked on my forehead off.

"You have fallen ill, Kibutsuji-sama. You fainted in the garden. Thankfully your Kimura-sama called for help."

"Where.. is she now?"
I asked.

"She's back at the Kimura residence. Her father immediately requested her presence. She's quite the stubborn lady. She wanted to stay until you have waken up but she did write you a letter before she left."

He slide the letter on my side. I hastily grabbed it and opened it.

It read;

To my dearly beloved, Kibutsuji Muzan

I'm sorry I had to leave so soon. I would've stayed if my father hadn't told me to. I'm writing you a letter to let you know I did not leave you on purpose...

When you started coughing up blood.. and fainted after coughing so hard, it was the most hardesr thing I had to endure seeing. You must be going through so much darling, I wish I knew sooner that you were hiding the fact you're ill.

Don't hide anymore. Whatever you'll go through, we'll go through it together. I told the doctor to immediately give you the best treatment and this letter I wrote.

I hope you will get better or I'll definitely fight the doctor.

I will visit you again tomorrow. See you then, Muzan.

Yours truly and forever, Kimura Y/n.

Her letter gave him comfort. He no longer felt angry after reading her letter.

He felt his heart ache when he read 'your truly and forever...' She sure knows how to make a man feel loved.

"You seem a little better, Kibutsuji-sama. How do you feel?" The doctor asked making Muzan feel a little bitter from being interrupted from his thoughts.

"I feel weaker than before... Are you sure that the medicine you're about to give me even works?" He doubted the doctor.

"I know that it will help you to manage to live on. I promise to find you a cure soon, Kitbusuji-sama."

The doctor gave him a cup to the sickly man.

"I hope you won't disappoint me again, doctor." He drank from the cup that he was given.
