It has been almost a year since we've last seen Muzan.

A lot has happened since then. Our new master, who had just become our leader at the age of six. The poor boy, taking in so much responsibility at a young age

—Yoriichi's comrades were disappointed in him for not defeating Muzan and the fact that Michikatsu became a demon.

I remember as clear as day that one of them said that he should commit suicide for it. Angered by their threats, I stand up for my friend. I've gotten in trouble for it but it is trouble worth getting in for.

Tamayo left the village and went to hide in the city. She left us a note before leaving at midnight. We write letters to each other but not so often although she wrote me a letter that she has opened her own clinic. I hope her business and herself are doing well.

One day Yoriichi quit demon slaying. From what I've heard from other demon slayers the higher-ups banished him from demon slaying. I was starting to get more worried for Yoriichi because he never talks to me except for the times where he announce that he'll go out and arrive back.

I noticed how he left early in the morning and came home late at night. I just hope that he's doing alright.

And as for me, I've been taking on mission after mission hoping to get more information on Michikatsu and Muzan. I miss him dearly. I don't want to admit it but I do miss Muzan as well.

Despite what Muzan has done. When we were younger, he was a relatively good fiancé. Good listener and a passionate bookworm.

I remember the times where he used to read small stories for me before we sleep. I suppose it's quite childish but it's the small things that counts.

My favourite book that he used to read before we slept was the story of the two frogs—quite funny on how it ended; both disappointed and left stubbornly back to their home cities but i've always wondered that what if the frogs were thoughtful enough to explore more of their home cities. They may look similar but within is another story.

Perhaps the story is similar between me and Kibutsuji. As much as I want to see him again, I can never let him harm any more innocent people.

I yawned as I finished writing my thoughts on my personal journal.

I stood up from my desk and head to my futon to sleep.
