Ch 8

As we make our way back to the dorm I clutch onto Mingi's arm a little he murmuring soft reassuring words of comfort. Once we make it inside and take our shoes off I immediately head to mine and Mingi's room climbing into bed then grab my new sketchbook and start focusing on the drawing I started. As I put all my focus on my drawing I don't notice the door opening or hear footsteps getting closer I jumping with a start when the bed suddenly dips my head shooting up only to relax a little when I see it's just Danny. "Hey are you okay? You seem upset." I hesitate before mumbling softly. "Rian was at the coffee shop Mingi took me too and he tried to take me back with him." His eyes widen a little and gives me a worried look. "Are you okay? Did he hurt you?" I shake my head no mumbling softly. "No but he brought up my ownership papers and tried to make me go with him." His eyes narrow slightly looking worried and angry. "I want to give him a piece of my mind. How'd you get away from him?" I slowly look at him and say softly. "Well Mingi brought up that he'd buy my ownership papers and Rian of course gave a ridiculous price for it and Mingi bless his heart he paid the price immediately. I told him he shouldn't have paid that much and he said that money can be replaced but I can't." Danny's eyes widen and he gapes at me in shock. "Whoa. He must really care about you." I blush a little and mumble. "I feel bad that he spent so much on me though." Danny's expression softens. "Oh Cecil. You shouldn't feel bad that someone cares about you and wants to make sure you're safe and happy." I shake my head and look down at my drawing starting to sketch again. Danny looks curious and peeks over my shoulder his eyes widening. "Wow that's really good." I smile a little and mumble softly. "Thanks it's for Mingi." He nods giving me a reassuring smile. "I'm sure he'll love it." I give a soft "I hope so." He assures me he will then gets up. "I'll leave you to it. But I'd talk to Mingi about the contract thing." I make a face and shrug putting all my focus on my drawing ignoring him. He sighs but thankfully leaves the room.

(Mingi's Pov)

Watching Cecil run off as soon as we enter the dorm I frown feeling a little concerned. Danny looks confused and I say a little softly. "You might want to go check on him." He frowns but nods and heads for mine and Cecil's room. Yunho gives me a confused look and I sigh running a hand through my hair. "The guy who tried to kill Cecil and abused him was at the coffee shop and was trying to take him away." Yunho's eyes widen a little. "Is he okay?" I immediately frown. "I honestly don't know. He's been quiet. I ended up having to buy his papers for him to not have to go with the guy." Yunho stares at me in shock. "How much did you spend?" I tell him the extremely high price and he stares at me wide eyed. "I had to get him away from that man Yunho. You'd have done the same for Danny." He frowns before agreeing. "Yeah that's true. Have you told him about your feelings yet?" I immediately feel my face heat up and shake my head. "I don't think he feels the same way." Yunho raises an eyebrow at me. "He wouldn't even let anyone in his hospital room yet he lets you touch him and talks to you about his feelings. He also lets you sleep in the same bed as him so he's got to feel some sort of connection with you." I hesitate a little. "I'll think about it." He gives me a little nod and I turn my head when I hear a door open Danny walking out with a slight frown on his face. "He's not in a good place right now. He's feeling guilty that Mingi spent so much money on him." I immediately frown. "But it's worth it for him to be safe and free." Danny gives me a small smile. "Then reassure him of that fact. And maybe give him cuddles." I blush at that suggestion Danny giving me an encouraging grin before running off with Yunho. I sigh and head for the room I quietly entering and smile softly when I see a droopy eyed Cecil trying to focus on his sketchbook I immediately heading over. "You should probably get some rest you look exhausted." He immediately looks at me with a pout. "But I have to finish this!" I give him a soft but stern look. "You can barely hold your head up. You can finish it tomorrow right now you need sleep." He pouts adorably but closes the sketchbook and sets it carefully on the nightstand then he snuggles under the covers. I nod in approval and start to head to my bed when he suddenly speaks up with a tired whine. "No! Mingi sleep with me in my bed." I pause and look at him wide eyed he giving me a pleading look a little pout on his lips. Swallowing I slowly make my way over and hesitate when I reach the other side of the bed. "Are you sure?" He nods pointing at the bed. "Get in the bed please." I feel my face heat up I quickly going to turn the bedroom light off then carefully make my way back to the bed and climb in beside Cecil. It's quiet for a minute before I feel movement I immediately tensing in shock when he snuggles close to me and nuzzles his face against my chest. Slowly relaxing I cautiously put my arms around his waist he letting out a sleepy sigh of contentment mumbling a soft "night Mingi" before his breathing evens out he fast asleep. I smile softly and gently cuddle him slowly falling asleep myself.
