Love

Have you ever wondered what falling in love feels like? It hurts. It hurts so bad because you're constantly wondering if that person loves you back. You're in constant fear that you're not enough. You question yourself. You question your decisions. Is this okay?

Maybe I should do something else? Or maybe I'm not enough for them.

They say love makes you crazy, it makes you so crazy that your mind spins and your heart pounds like a drum. Thump. Thump. Thump. And you stare at that person, sometimes for minutes, seconds. Maybe even hours. But you don't care because you watch them until life seems to just stop.

It's just you and them in a perfect little world, together. You're in that perfect little world and nobody can stop you. Why would they?

People say love is different.

Love is.

They say love isn't healthy.

It isn't.

Love can do so many things, it could make you fight because you care too much or too little. But love can also make you cry because you are disappointed, people warned you of that person and it turns out they were right. They were right about everything. Every detail. Every snarky comment.

You wish they weren't right. You want them to be wrong so bad but it's so hard because they were right. The person that you put every single breath, every ache, every second into isn't worth your time because they are not returning that time. That love.

They aren't returning those seconds. Those breathes. Those heart aches that made you cry until you can't cry anymore.

They took everything from you and now they're running with it close to their chest, just using it and putting all that pain and love somewhere else. They're giving it to someone else. Maybe you met at the right place but wrong time but maybe you met the wrong person. Because that's what love does, it confuses you and blocks your mind from everyone else.

You won't look at other people so you will never know if the right person is there watching your heart get broken while they are waiting to fix it and put it in the right place.  They're waiting for you to realize that they're watching. Waiting.

And they will continue to wait for you. Because that's what love does. It makes you wait. It gives you pain. Love makes you suffer. Love makes you change your mind. But love is beautiful because it always helps you learn a lesson.

Not every love story ends with a happy ending. Some are tragic but you will find your story. One day.
