Hi! 👋

I just wanna say thank you so much for giving love to Falling Leaves! I appreciate you all! ♥️

Enjoy!!

Mile squinted as the fresh rays of sunlight illegally entered the room through the thin cracks on the sheer gray curtains. He raised his right arm to block the blinding rays when he felt like he lost his left arm. He shifted his gaze to the opposite direction and saw Apo, sleeping peacefully and prettily with his arm as pillow. He automatically forgot about the numbing arm as he dragged his fingers across Apo's pink cheek, checking if what he's seeing truly exists in his real world and not just in his dreams. He fought the growing urge not to pinch it, arguing with every fiber of his being not to wake his lover up, as he was already looking like a Greek god while asleep, Mile cannot imagine how spectacular he would look like with thick styes.

"Babe?"

He jolted when his eyes met Apo's. The latter was already staring at him. For how long did he fight his inner demons then?

Mile looked away in embarrassment, but Apo cupped his jaw and made him face to face with him.

"Are you not going to say good morning to your boyfriend?"

"Good morning, baby", and he kissed Apo's lips.

"You know what? I feel so fresh right now, like I've been reborn in a new world and I still ended up with you." Apo chuckled.

Mile smiled. "Hey Po?" Apo smiled, staring at his lover's captivating eyes, "hmm?" "Can we talk a- about what happened that night? Between you and-"

Mile stuttered. Nervousness was building up inside him. What if Apo doesn't want to talk about it? What if the question reminded him of the misfortune that had befallen to him on that bridge?

Apo moved. He turned his spooned angle to face Mile with his whole body, while still resting his head on his arm. He placed his left arm on Mile's back and caressed him. "Are you talking about the night where you saw me and Eye kissing?"

Mile blinked several times before he nodded. He was hesitating, walking on egg shells as they approach the subject.

"That kiss meant goodbye, Mile. Eye left Thailand to continue her studies abroad. That's all I know, but that kiss didn't mean anything to me rather than a goodbye."

Mile felt his stomach tighten. A surge of guilt overtook his mind for a while before Apo knocked him out of it.

"Mile? Say something, please."

"I'm so sorry for not trusting you enough, for not listening to you. I shouldve-"

Apo shut him up with a gentle peck on the lips.

"We're not kids anymore, but that doesn't mean there isn't room for growth. We've been together for 5 years, and we're still learning a lot. I think we'll be great husbands in the future!"

"And great fathers!"

"And great fathers." Apo kissed Mile again. "I love you, Mile. I don't know what I'm gonna do without you."

"Me, too. I love you so much, Nattawin."

"By the way, do you know what day it is today?"

Mile looked baffled. "It's Wednesday. Why?"

Apo chuckled and looked at the mini clock resting on top of Mile bedside table. "We still have 30 minutes to shower. Can I borrow your uniform?"

"Fuck, our Economics class!" Mile jumped out of bed and ran towards the bathroom while Apo rolled in bed, laughing his heart out. "Hey, let's shower together!"
