Wade and Ember stood beside each other across from their parents. Wade's mother was on the verge of tears whereas Ember's parents were happy for their daughter's internship. "Well...I'm not one for teary goodbyes... but-" Wade began. "Oh Wade... you big liar! Drip drip..." Both Wade and his mom began to quiver and their tears. "Goes the baby boy!" The cried in unison. Ember and Bernie looked at each other before her dad asked, "Are you sure about this one? " I'm sure."

Wade and Ember headed up the ramp before Ember looked her boyfriend in the eyes. Wade gave her a knowing glance and she turned around back to her parents. Her dad had told her of the bà ksô, the big bow. After Bernie returned the bà ksô, Ember continued onto the boat, following Wade from behind

"Uhh... I'm not sure about this, Wade. Maybe we should go back? Yeah! That sounds like a good idea! Turning back and-" Ember was interrupted by a steamy kiss from Wade, later patting her on the head in reassurance. "Better?" He smirked at her, knowing that it got to her every time. Ever since they had met, Wade knew that their steamy touch was something special, something that changed their chemistry for the better. Ember always blushed and Wade enjoyed her natural rainbow light that would follow after these moments.

"Definitely. Th-thanks." She spoke softly, returning his gesture with a grin. She then hesitantly reaching for his hand. Wade's water began bubbling at the close proximity between them. "Ember, are you still nervous that we'll hurt each other?" He asked, his voice laced with concern. She shook her head and bit the bottom of her lip.

At that moment, Wade knew that it wasn't the worry of possible danger but rather, nervousness of simply holding her boyfriend's hand. He grasped her hand without matching Ember's hesitancy. He rose her hand to his lips and kissed the back of it. She always loved his romantic gestures and he always loved to tease her. They were shortly interrupted by a blast of the boat's horn, signifying the start of their journey.
