The boys each took a beer from the fridge. Bojan wanted to toast to a great year. 2022 had been very eventful for their band, playing all kinds of shows, releasing their second studio album, demoni while also saying goodbye to their previous base player and welcoming Nace into their friend group and most recently, getting selected to represent Slovenia for the Eurovision Song Contest. 'Na zdravje v dobro leto' Bojan said. 'na zdravje!' The boys replied, clinking their bottles together and taking the first sip. Kris glanced at Bojan, thinking he looked cute in his vintage sweater. Still in heaven over Bojan's reply on his text message yesterday, it meant there was hope.

Nace had been the first one to get a snack from the table, enjoying a mini sandwich. Complementing Jure, who brought them, on how delicious they were. 'Jure where on earth did you learn how to make these sandwiches they are absolutely delicious' Nace said with his mouth still slightly full. Jure, who was sipping one of the beers Nace brought grinned with pride. 'Ah thanks man, I have some tricks up my sleeve when it comes to sandwiches' Jure answered resulting in the other boys taking one of the little snacks too and tasting the amazing homemade sliders. Bojan tasted one and unable to contain his reaction he let out an involuntary moan of pleasure. 'Mmm... Jure, these sandwiches are incredible! Seriously, I've never tasted anything this good.'

Kris, who was mid-bite with his own snack, was caught off guard by Bojan's reaction. He was so taken aback that he started to choked on his food. Nace and Jan immediately turned their attention to Kris, concerned.'Hey, Kris, are you okay? Take it easy, buddy!' Jan said, quickly grabbing a glass of water from the table and handing it to Kris who managed to recover from his choking fit. His face slightly flushed.

He wasn't going to admit that the most unholy thoughts sprang to his mind when he heard Bojan moan softly. 'Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. Just caught me off guard, that's all' Kris answered quickly trying not to betray himself. 'Looks like Jure's sandwiches have quite the effect on you Kris. Better watch out or you might choke again' Nace playfully chimed in, teasing Kris. As laughter and more playful banter filled the living room again Bojan sneaked outside to get some fresh air.

Jure had the idea to play a few rounds of Cards Against Humanity, his favourite party game. Because it always brought out the worst, darkest humour in the boys. He took out the box from his backpack and set it on the dinnertable. Kris, Jure, Bojan, Nace and Jan took place around it. Jure acted as self-proclaimed judge for the first round. 'Alright, everyone get ready! It's time to unleash our inner darkness' he exclaimed, smiling wickedly while handing everyone 10 white cards. 'I will now read the first black card' Jure continued taking the top card of the pile and holding it op. 'For my next trick, I will pull... out of ...' Bojan, Nace, Kris and Jan all looked at the white cards in their hands, trying to formulate the funniest reply to the black card, occasionally chuckling to themselves when the found a funny combination. With all the definite answers face down in front of Jure he flips them over reading all the combinations out loud. Giggles were heard after every answer. 'For my next trick, I will pull meatloaf (the food) out of meatloaf (the man)' Jure read the last combination of cards and all five boys erupt with laughter. It had been Nace's answer that had won the round. While the game progressed and more and more inappropriate answers began to circulate Bojan and Kris couldn't help but exchange some flirtatious glances, thinking they were being discreet. In reality they were as discreet as an elephant trying to tiptoe trough a porcelain shop and failing miserably at that. The air between the two becoming laden with palpable tension Jure caught up with the glances, eyeing Nace and Jan and nodding slightly.

Unbeknownst to Bojan and Kris the other guys had forged a plan, back in Hamburg, to try and leave the party early to give their friends some time alone together. This plan had been kept under wraps, waiting for the perfect opportunity to unfold. And that opportunity was now. Nace, Jure and Jan shared some more glances. 'Okay guys last round, I just realized I need to leave early tonight.' Jure said. It was Bojan's turn to be judge. He pulls a black card from the pile and read; 'This is your captain speaking. Fasten your seatbelts and prepare for ...'
