(A week later,the nemesis)
It had been a week since Breakdown had came back on the ship,and everyone had gotten semi-used to the "new" Breakdown that was now there,the veicon's were still treated fairly well by Breakdown as to be expected as Breakdown was always a kind and well mannered individual,he still acted sort of like the same Breakdown but he wasn't the same either.
If anyone asked him what happened with Arachnid or why he didn't show up to the ground bridge,he would either go into a sobbing fit or he'd yell at them which was extremely out of character for him.
Breakdown was also extremely paranoid of everything,jumping at the slightest noise and seeming to be very jumpy in general.
Which scared Knockout pretty badly.
He's not usually like this. Knockout thought as he stared at Breakdown talking to one of the veicon's.
"Ya know I don't usually say this but I kinda feel bad for him." Dreadwing murmured as he sipped some coffee.
"I know he wasn't like this before..he was usually the brute of the relationship.." knockout murmured then lectured himself in his mind.
He's still the same Breakdown you jerk!
He's just been badly injured and traumatized by whatever happened back there,you need to be kinder to him! Knockout told himself.
"Breakdown?" Knockout asked as he approached him.
Breakdown seemed to freeze in position for a moment before sighing in relief.
"Ah,Knockout it's just you I was uh..erm.." Breakdown murmured.
"Hey,it's okay! In fact I was thinking why don't we go and have a few drinks? Maybe even have a bit of fun while we're out." Knockout suggested.
However Breakdown didn't seem too thrilled with the idea as he looked around for a moment.
"Hey what's the worst that could happen?" Knockout asked.
Breakdown flinched at that statement and looked away from Knockout.
Damn it! I shouldn't have said that! Knockout thought.
"I just think you'd need some fresh air,after being in this ship for a week." Knockout murmured.
Breakdown sighed and looked at Knockout with a tiny smile.
"You know just how to talk to me don't you?" Breakdown signed.
Knockout nodded.
Now that's the breakdown I know and love! Knockout thought as he headed out of the ship,switching to his vehicle mode as he did so.
Breakdown however didn't seem to switch to vehicle mode and just followed him in normal form.
Knockout looked at him confused.
Did Arachnid take his vehicle mode from him too? Knockout thought as he stared at his sparkmate.
"I..I'm sorry if I seemed cruel,I just.. I'm concerned for you I really am." Knockout murmured being at a loss for words for once.
"I know I understand I just..don't wanna talk about it right now,please understand that it's difficult for me,I want to tell you but I can't I hope you understand that,I can't." Breakdown signed as he stared at Knockout.
Knockout felt so much empathy for him,Breakdown must've underwent something very terrible if he was so paranoid.
"So whatcha want? I mean I know some good places,there's a really good Chinese restaurant just across exit forty and then there's taco bell and Wendy's and.." Knockout murmured before Breakdown interrupted him by pointing at a pizza place just across the road.
"That'll do." Knockout said as he dashed across towards it,Breakdown following close behind.
"So drive thru or..?" Knockout asked.
"Drive thru." Breakdown signed.
Knockout nodded as the two got pizza and stopped at a park.
Knockout then went into normal mode and sat down at a bench beside Breakdown.
"I hope you brought your camera,it's nice out." Knockout murmured as he stared at the lake,it was a sunny day today after all so the sun shined perfectly on the lake.
"I always do." Breakdown said as he took a picture with a small handheld camera as they watched the ducks and geese on the lake.
"I figured as much." Knockout murmured giving him a kiss on the cheek.
Breakdown chuckled.
"Oh really?" Breakdown said pinning him to the grass playfully.
"Oi you!" Knockout said as the two began to play fight.
Knockout then kissed Breakdown as he pinned him down.
"Seems I won." Knockout said with a smile.
"Perhaps." Breakdown said as he stood up looking back at the nature.
Knockout smirked and tackled him still trying to have fun with him.
He then noticed the panic and fear in breakdown's eyes when he had him pinned,he looked terrified for his life.
Knockout backed off at this however breakdown seemed to be having a panic attack,shaking and seeming to find it hard to breathe.
Knockout sighed as he held Breakdown's hand gently.
"Shh..it's okay,it's okay,your okay your safe..I'm here.." Knockout murmured gently.
Breakdown eventually after a few minutes seemed to calm down with Knockout's hand holding and comforting words.
"I'm sorry Knockout I..didn't mean.." Breakdown murmured.
"Hey it's okay,I'm happy your okay." Knockout murmured hugging him.
Breakdown then hugged him back.
