COMFORT [Aether x sodo]

Another show was finally over, however, the crowd treated Sodo like shit for no reason. As soon as the ghouls bowed on stage, Sodo was the fastest to leave the stage. Followed by the others not long after.

Aether noticed the strange behaviour in the small Ghoul and followed after him before the other ghouls went backstage. Finally getting to the changing room, Sodo was nowhere to be found.
"Sodo?" Aether whisper shouted knowing people can probably still hear. He walked toward the bathroom door which was locked for some reason, and he knocked.
"Sodo? Are you in here?" He called in a quiet voice, to be answered with hyperventilating and sniffles.
"Sodo, can you unlock the door? It's Aether."
The fire Ghoul seemed hesitant to unlock the door, but eventually, a click was heard from the other side. The door slowly opened for Aether to step in, close and locked the door behind him.

Aether saw the state the Ghoul was in and took his helmet off for a comforting approach, letting his horns loose from the helmet.
"Oh... Sodo.." He whispered a concerned look plastered on his face. Sodo just continued to cry whilst looking to the floor, his eyebrows farrowing.

Aether slowly got closer to the Ghoul on the floor of the bathroom, pulling him onto his lap, The fire Ghoul melts into the touch and places his head on Aether's chest.
"Tell me about it," Aether whispered, Sodo just shook his head.

Aether nodded and continued to hold him close rubbing his hand in circles on the smaller ghoul's back.

After a while Sodo pulled himself up from aethers chest and Nuzzled his face into the taller ghoul's neck.
"I think I'm ready to talk about it.." The fire Ghoul whispered his voice sounding hoarse.
Aether just nodded to allow the Ghoul to speak. And so he did.

Aether just sat there listening to the smaller ghoul's problems pulling him closer to him.
"Oh sodo... you don't deserve that. You're so much better than them" Aether frowned.

Sodo just stared down again.
"Look they're just a bunch of dickheads. They don't understand you, you're the most perfect man I've ever met, you're beautiful and talented. Don't listen to them they don't know you." Aether whispered caressing Sodo's hands, Sodo laughed slightly as Aether lifted the smaller ghoul's chin to look at him as he wiped away the tears that stained Sodo's face.
