Batman has a birthday today, and if you know me... or read my rants you know this album got me in its hold. Everything about this album is perfection... except for Arms of Orion but that's another rant. From the layover of movie dialog, Gemini, the way the album reads as the characters communicating through songs... everything is pure magic. Kim Basinger's album was a choice... but I see where he was trying to live his Batman fantasy, LOL.
As an MTV kid those videos were everything to me and I think that's why the character of Gemini is so very special. His concept so simple the duality of Batman and Joker... how they are different yet the same. How well they completely lean into the paradigm of the zodiac as well. They are also rereleasing the album in September and it's the only one I don't have on vinyl so finally that huge Batman sized hole in my heart will be filled.

His face is literal perfection... like this is a candid shot and he got green hair and face paint but still look stunning! I would absolutely adore some BTS shots for this extended video.

This outfit will never not be a favorite... like just the man's thighs alone. Also leather gloves and sunnies to go skating... no one else could ever... ever.
My favorite unreleased track. I understand why it was never included but the dark gothic beauty of this song I think has a place there. I do often wonder what songs would have been produced for Batman Returns... darker grittier... definitely more 90s flare.
