Austyn's POV
After destroying the Mreltion I crashed out early for a nap and as soon as I fell asleep I could tell my memory was slowly deteriorating. I grabbed my comn device as quickly as I could and sent Alex a hasty message, telling him that I was going onto Earth.
With that, I collapsed in a heap and only saw a figure in black waving bye to me before the dark covered my vision.

I woke up on my bunk bed that I shared with Flynn. I stretched out my legs and headed down the ladder, woke up Flynn, and threw on some clothes before heading out the door.
I tiptoed past Mom and Dad's room not wanting to wake them or Alice, who at one year old could scream plenty loud. I slid down the banister as it curved down to the marble entry room. I jumped off and went past the living room and into the kitchen.
I opened the huge sliding glass window and started making myself some eggs and toast for a sandwich.
"What am I just, forgotten?" Flynn asked, clutching his heart and pretending to be hurt.
"Yep!" I said cheerfully as he also put some bread in the toaster.
"You can be a real annoying brother," he said as he cracked an egg in the same pan I was using. I just sighed and cooked them all. By the time Mom, Dad, and Alice were downstairs, me and Flynn were already outside fencing.
We had both picked up the hobby along with multiple different martial arts and trained daily with different weapons. Alice wobbled over, taking some small and huge steps but still going very quickly.
We stopped and she grabbed her specialized toy sword and started swinging at us. We jumped back and after a minute she had us pinned down with her sword at our neck.
I picked her up and put her inside and closed the door, leaving us to practice. After using swords, knives, and a few different types of guns, we went inside and Flynn raced up the stairs before I could get there.
I waited for him in a corner to scare him, but then the doorbell rang. I came down the stairs, still covered in sweat, and opened it to find Amiri at the door.
"Do you want to come and play?" she asked.
"Sure, let me just shower real quick and then I'll be out," she nodded, and then I closed the door and found Flynn already at the bottom of the stairs. I quickly went up the stairs, happy that we didn't have any school and that Amiri had come over. I showered quickly and my hair was still dripping when me and Flynn headed across the street.
"So what do you want to play?" Amiri asked.
"How about,...hm, what about water balloons?" Flynn suggested.
"Sure!" She said brightly grabbing two buckets from her open garage." Could you get the balloons?" I nodded and headed back over and got four packets and by the end of it we were completely soaked from head to toe and we jumped in the pool.
It was almost lunch by the time I said bye to Amiri and I was still soaked. I changed and after having an awesome lunch of homemade spaghetti and meatballs at the barstools, I headed outside to go wander around.
"Don't go too far!" Mom said, already cooking up something else in the huge kitchen. I shut the door and went out the back door to the forest behind the backyard.
The trees grew so big that only little rays of sunlight filtered through their bright green branches, lighting up the moss and small animals scurrying around, looking for food. I headed deeper in and after a half hour I came upon a clearing where a ton of noise came from.
I peered through the branches of a low tree and saw to my utter shock, multiple dragons in the clearing, asleep. They were each the size of a car with colored scales ranging from bright green to dark purple. They looked like a family with a little hatchling in the middle of them.
I was just about to leave when one of the dragons saw me. It rose from laying and then spoke in my mind.
"You shouldn't be here little human," it said plainly, "I am sorry that I have to eat you, you look like you are a good boy." At that point, I thought to myself that I would focus on surviving and then think about what I'm seeing right now.
I dashed away, hurriedly thinking of a plan that could get this dragon off of my tail(no pun intended). I ran through a list of scenarios and eventually, I circled back around grabbed my sword, and held the little hatchling's neck against my sword.
When the dragon came back into the clearing he or she saw me with my sword against the dragon's neck.
"I really don't want to do this," I said, trying to calm my nerves, "I have a very simple deal for you, I let him free and you let me free." The dragon contemplated it for a second and then agreed.
"I will take the dragon and then when I get home, I will release it. If you come close to my house, I will kill you." The dragon nodded and then I was off into the jungle with random memories trickling into my brain.
I released the dragon when I got home and I had just gotten inside the house when a beep on my watch came on. I looked at it and saw the dragons that I had slapped the GPS tracking spray on were already charging to the house.
I quickly set the activation code to hide our house and a pale green dome settled over our house and it also shocked anyone who touched it.
Eventually, all the dragons had shocked themselves into unconsciousness, and then all my memories finally came back, allowing me, Flynn, and Amiri, to teleport back to Exercin's School of Magic.
