The next day, I rushed to get dressed. "What's got you in a hurry, honey? You got a boyfriend?" Renée asked, peering over the back of her chair. "Ugh mom. No way." I said, laughing. "Okay. Well, you be safe now, you hear? Charlie has the rates of the animal population, and he's telling me that it's uneven. They believe that there is a big animal hunting somewhere."
