My name is Lexie Carter .
I just very recently graduated from the University of Louisville in Kentucky.
I am now living in L.A. with the hope of getting a a job as a teacher which is what I majored in at college.
And I'm sure you fine people are wondering why in the world I am in freaking Los Angeles if I just graduated from Louisville in Kentucky....aka the bluegrass state.
Well....you kind and generous folks might not believe me but I'm going to tell you anyway.
Will Smith,catcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers is my first cousin.
Yes,folks, it's a true story.
Will's mother and my mother are sisters which makes us first cousins.
I know that still doesn't explain anything but Lord have mercy folks I promise I'm getting there.
Anyway.....Will and I went to the University of Louisville together for a year or two.
Then one day he got the call of a lifetime.
Will was drafted but the L.A. Dodgers into the MLB during his junior season at Louisville
I have never in my life been so happy for a human being.
The guy truly deserves it. He has worked hard at baseball ever since we were young uns .
