Strange Marriage

Chapter - 15

A few days passed and Yibo started to get use to his new life. He would woke up early in the morning and have breakfast with the family members. He would spend his days exploring the Xiao Estate and studying.

Yibo was happy in the Xiao Estate. He had two little friends. They were Yang Jing and Wu Chen. Yang Jing was Yang Mi and Yang Yang's son. He was 12 years old. Wu Chen was Wu Yifan and Wu Xuanyi's son. He was 8 years old. Both Jing and Chen liked Yibo very much. They always tired to get Yibo's attention and play with him.

Now, Yibo, Jing and Chen were playing hide and seek. Jing and Chen went to hide and Yibo was searching the two.

Yibo was searching for the two boys on the second floor. Suddenly he heard some noises were coming from Xiao Xin's study. He thought that it might be Jing and Chen. So, he started to went to the study.

Yibo slowly opened the door but stopped when he heard someone was mentioning his name.

"Madam Xin why don't we ask Yibo to go to the company?" Asked Allen Ren.

"So that those old board members can give the boy a load of headache." Said Xin.

"Why would the board members give me headache?" Yibo asked as he popped his head in the room.

"Yibo, what are you doing here?" Asked Xin

Yibo cursed himself for getting caught. He didn't mean to say those words out loud.

"Yibo, come inside." Yang Mi said and Yibo nodded his head.

Yibo went inside the study room and sat beside Yang Mi when she signaled him to sit beside her.

"Now tell us what are you doing here?" Yang Mi asked.

"I was playing hide and seek with Jing and Chen. I was searching for them when I noticed some noises coming from here. I thought it might be them. So, I decided to open the door and accidentally overhead your conversation." Yibo explained everything and the others nodded their heads.

"Is there any problem in the company?" Yibo asked and Yang Mi nodded.

"Do you need my help?" Yibo asked.

"Well, I showed your and Sean's marriage documents to the board members. But my brother-in-law and his son didn't want to believe it. Even though we proved that the papers are not fake still they are making troubles and the board members are siding with him." Said Xin.

"They have brought the board members." Said Yang Mi.

"What can I do to help you?" Yibo asked.

"Well, Allen proposed that if you come to the company and have a meeting with the board members then it might help us." Said Lay Zhang.

"No, I don't agree." Said Xin.

"Why? Is there anything wrong with the plan?" Yibo asked.

"The plan might work but I don't want you to go." Said Xin.

"Why?" Yibo asked again and Xin sighed.

"Yibo, you have no idea how cruel and cunning the board members are. If they get to know that you, a eighteen years old boy is married to Zhan they will start to criticize you, insult you, saying you are gold digger. We don't want it to happen to you so we don't want to to go to the company." Said Yang Mi and Xin nodded their heads in agreement.
