Consumption

Feet planted on the ground, eyes up to the sky,

Sun covered by black clouds of mechanical monsters,

slowly settling on my shoulders and pushing me down.

There is no where to run.

Suits, ties, bags, briefcases,

Knife sharp heels clack against discolored cement.

Merging into one big monster.

They are coming for me.

Fingers like ravaged claws push and shove,

In closer they draw as they aim for my throat,

ready to rip out my life.

No conscience they have.

Grey on grey, on black on white,

material shifts and moulds together,

dry words tumble from open holes.

They are hungry.

Covered by shadows, no longer visible.

They are tearing me limb from limb.

Seemingly have merged into nothingness,

They have consumed me.

(For people who don't understand this, it's pretty much just me expressing how I feel in giant crowds, and how I think it would look like from a birds eye view or a view from an onlooker or whatever. Interpret this as you wish though.)
