One morning I woke up and received a call. It was from YG
"Jisoo Kim, you have been accepted to train at YG from next month."
I was so excited, I could scream and I did. I immediately rushed out to find my parents and tell them this news. They were extremely happy and so was I. The only thing bothering me was being apart from my family.
ONE MONTH LATER
I arrived at the YG center. This was already different from my usual life, but I was ready for it and I took a deep breath as I walked in. I went to the reception and gave my name. The friendly staff directed me to my dorm room.
Since it was already 9:00pm, the woman told me to rest for today and the training will start the next day.
My dorm room only had 2 other people. Odd. I thought there were supposed to be 4 people in one dorm.
I asked them their name.
One of them was really friendly, but she did not know Korean so we had a language barrier. But she knew how to say basic phrases.
"Annyeonghaseoyo. Naneun Lalisa-ya"
I laughed, her pronounciation was funny. She seemed like a small sister of mine.
The other girl gave me a death stare. I bowed, because it was obvious she was my senior.
"Naneun Jisoo-ya" I said
The girl looked away and said
"Listen, girl, Don't mess with my position here. I am the best right now and so you can't ruin it ."
"Mm... nae" replied
She turned away so I called after her
"Can you give name?"
"It's Jennie. That's Kim Jennie to you" she replied
"Oh! Even I am Kim last name" I cringed at my english but it was the best I could do.
I am not completely sure, but I think she might actually think I'm nice.
