prologue

It all starts when they return to the ship after the first exam on the island.

Ayanokoji's POV.

After I explained the plan to Horikita, I went back to my cabin. It was quite late and I wanted to sleep, I didn't have to agonize for long and I was finally able to rest.

I woke up to a noise, when I opened my eyes I saw a large movie theater and it was clear that this was not on the ship.
Everyone was very panicked, apparently everyone had just woken up.

After looking around I realized that the entire first year was here, as well as a few people from the 2nd and 3rd years, more specifically a guy with blonde hair and blue eyes, also a girl with silver hair and crimson eyes. The ones I know are Horikita Manabu, Horikita Suzune's older brother, and Tachibana Akane, the student council secretary.

As I mentioned everyone was panicking and acting extremely restless, the leaders tried to calm down their classmates, but the latter still couldn't calm down, it was extremely difficult to bring about 160 students to calm down. By the way, there were no teachers or any of the adults here.
It took just over 5 minutes and most of the students fell silent. So everyone more or less calmed down.

All I realized was that there were no exits, no windows, etc. It was a completely enclosed space. After observing the others, I realized that no one knew anything about it. I doubt that it is possible to kidnap so many people without them knowing about it, and besides we were on a ship, which made it even more impossible.

Finally someone spoke it was Horikita Sr.

Manabu： My name is Horikita Manabu, and I'm the president of the student council. I, like all of you, don't know what happened, so we should all wait quietly for what might happen. Until then, we can search the premises.

???: Oh, you don't have to do anything, you'll find out.

Some unknown entity appeared, everyone was paying attention. It was a simple, human, light silhouette with dark particles around it, you could assume it wasn't human at all.

Manabu: Apparently this is all your idea, we all do to hear an explanation. - Horikita the elder asked in a calm voice.

Ryuen: ku-ku, what are you, a monster? You reek of a suggestion of fear.

It's true that he exuded a very strange aura, I can't understand it, but from what Ryuen said, it could be fear-mongering. Alas, I do not understand it.

The silhouette itself seemed in no hurry to answer.

Everyone was silent and looked at him nervously.

It looked very strange, we just happened to be in some kind of closed theater, and now there was this, a silhouette. Could it be that this is a dream? No, I can't wake up and realize it's a dream.

???: You're pretty sensitive about this, people. The answer to your question is, I am God. And yes, I am the one who called you here. I can assure you that you will not suffer and therefore none of you will die. I called you here for my own amusement, out of boredom.

Everyone was very surprised at the existence of God, whether you are an atheist or not, you will be surprised. This "God," though, did not fit our ideas of God. He wasn't particularly good or particularly evil, he just was.

Although he is rather selfish, because he is bored he tries to amuse himself with us mere mortals.

Arisu: Okay, okay god, so what do you want from us?

Ryuen: Ku-ku, I never believed in the gods I heard about, the reality was too harsh with such good gods. And now it all fits, far from heavenly life and a very interesting God.
Manabu: Looks like we have no choice and we have to please you.
