HEART'S DESIRE

Part 18

A beautiful morning in a beautiful mansion , the two couples and the two singles lay in their beds , lazily and tiredly sleeping piecefully. An anonymous call rings his phone , with his deciding not to wake up but the phone keeps ringing.

Cole 02:17
"It's 2Am in the morning. Who the hell is this?"  He said with a rather lazy voice.

Anonymous caller 02:18
"Is that how you greet your exes?" By that Cole knew who that was. His annoying ex. He cussed under his breath.

Cole 02:18
"What do you want Bridgette?" He felt a smile throughout the phone.

Bridgette 02:19
"I still love you Emily. I still want to be with you and I know you love me too." Rage grew within him again.

Cole 02:19
"I don't know where you got my number but I don't care. Don't ever call me again. I owe you nothing , I have moved on and that's what you should also do , I never wanna hear your voice or see your face. I repeat , don't call me again or else I'll track you down and I swear I'll kill you." He ended the call and his sleep was gone.

He rose up and looked over to Melody who was sleeping peacefully , he smiled at her image. That calmed him down and broke down all his rage. He slowly kissed her forehead. He got away from bed and went downstairs and as he was walking down , a scent of pancakes hit his nose.

"Couldn't sleep?"

"Yeah , decided to eat and watch some Netflix. What's your reason?" Sandra said putting some mapple syrup on the brownish pancakes. Cole took a plate and took some for himself with some syrup on top.

"Some bitch I used to date wokee up. I hate the fact that she woke me up to tell me shit!"

"Wanna talk about it?" She sat down a few seats apart from him.

"She's an annoying little fucker. I grew to hate that girl , she's really annoying. She's the most impacinet and annoying person on earth. I hate everything about her , she has a way of growing this urge in me to kill her tiny ass. She's wicked and evil. She has the innocent facial expressions but damn that girl. She's annoying. Really annoying , I've had so many problems dealing with that short shit. Have I told you how annoying she is?" He says filling hismouth with pancakes.

"A million times already." She chuckled.

"That's because she is!" I sigh thinking about all the memories I've had with Bridgette.

"Maybe she didn't mean any harm." She said reaching for the remote control.

"I'll just pretend as if I didn't hear that." He says stuffing his face.

......

"Babe , let go. I want icecream!" Melody said trying to get out of Cole's embrace.

"No , I miss youuuu!" Cole nagged and Mel laughed.

"Babe I'm craving icecream. Please let me go!" Cole sighed and opened his arms and melody ran to the kitchen. She opened the freezer and took a tube of chocolate flavoured icecream. She ran back to Cole and they cuddled on the sofa watching Netflix eating icecream.
