The make up and hair dressing professionnal Ceren had hired was very nice. She looked a lot like Fifi, style wise, and tried to make small talk with her. She did seem nice, but Eda could only give her polite smiles as she played nervously with her fingers while the lady, Hayat if she had heard well, fixed some curls in her hair.
"Are you nervous ?" Hayat asked, seeming to be used to nervous brides in her career of 10 years as a bridal make up and hair stylist.
"A little." Eda lied, she was very anxious. A weight pressed on her chest ever since Serkan left, and she felt restless.
"Why ? Not sure about your decision ?"
Eda shook her head, it was taking all of her mental effort to be polite and continue the conversation while keeping her nerves in control.
"Yok, yok, he's the love of my life. I've never been so sure about anything in my life. I just... don't know if he'll make it on time..." Eda explained.
"Why wouldn't he, if he loves you ? He'll come." Eda locked eyes with her.
If she was honest with herself, the irrational and impulsive side of Eda Yıldız was upset with Serkan. How could he leave her like this, stressing this much, for a business deal on their wedding day ? Çok sacma, Robot Bolat.
She chastised those thoughts away right the next second, she was being stupid, and irrational. He had a private jet and was Serkan Bolat, he would make it. And even if he didn't, Eda wasn't one of those women who made a fuss of little things like this, she had always been kind and adaptable. They'd get married tomorrow, if he didn't make it today, what was the big deal ?
"He'll make it." She said firmly, trying to make herself believe that and let her brain lead her thoughts.
She shouldn't let her old, impulsive self control her, she was past that wasn't she ? And she was about to become Eda Bolat, she had to adopt some Robot capacities herself. Think rationally, think with her brain cells, not impulsions and irrational presentiments.
