FOUR GLASSES OF WINE seem to be enough for Freya Kuhn to feel loosened up. She had little care about being in the middle of the dance floor on her own. She had already lost sight of where Annie and the others were, also too occupied by dancing or talking to someone. Either way, she had no idea.
In her slight drunken state, she swayed her hips along with the beat. She reveled in the party when she felt the floor getting crowded. She ignored it at first. Soon it became quite annoying and suffocating. She stepped out a little bit but not completely.
"The crowd surely forgot what happened just now," she sighs. With her dizzy vision, she looked at the crowd starting to get rowdy. The alcohol might be the culprit. She took a small sip of her wine before putting it down at a random table. She then closed her eyes to cool down for a bit when a few seconds later she felt another person push her. Quite harsher and harder than the previous ones, which failed her to keep her feet on the floor.
And apparently, it was a push that would change the trajectory of her whole life. An accidental push from behind the back had made her unprepared for what was about to happen next.
Because she did not get to see that a man happened to pass by in front of her. Not just any man. But it was the last person she expected to involve herself with anything. As she fell, he caught her before her face could embarrassingly hit the floor.
But it did hit something else.
A soft pair of lips hit an inch near hers. It wasn't exactly on the lips, but definitely close enough for it to look like a kiss from afar.
She tried to focus her eyes, hoping to make sense of whose lips were on her. Then, it all became clear to her.
Her eyes widened when she realized whose lips it was.

It's been a long time coming but...here I am again. It's been awhile since I started writing a full-length novel/fanfic again so bear with me.
