Ghost hunting with Sam and Colby

The Stanley Pt. 1

The first bit of this chapter is mainly just kinda "behind the scenes" or before they got to the Stanley.

Y/N's pov:

I had just got off the plane and texted Colby on instagram that I just landed so to head to the airport. At this point Sam and Colby had been in Colorado for a couple days. After a bit, Colby called me telling me that him and Sam were outside. Last second I figured out that a girl named Amanda Raye a medium was coming with to the Stanley. 

No one's pov:

Y/N had walked out of the airport to be greeted by Sam "Oh hey Y/N! Are you ready?" Y/N nodded and followed Sam to the car. She was helped get her suitcase in the trunk. Once it was there, Y/N and Sam got in the car. Y/N was met to see a girl with long blonde hair and blue eyes "Oh! You must be Amanda." Amanda smiled a bit as she said "Yep, that's me!".  The car ride to the Stanley was pretty much completely quiet, with the occasional talking. After about 1-2 hours they arrived at the hotel. Once they parked and got out, Y/N and Amanda said in sync "OH..MY...GOD" because it was both of their first time at the Stanley. They all got their luggage out of the trunk. Not long after S&C had set up the camera and got everyone in position. When everyone was ready Colby said..well basically yelled "WHAT"S UP GUYS IT"S SAM AND COLBY". Y/N and Amanda just waited to be introduced by S&C. "Today we are here with two special guests. Amanda and Y/N!" then they let Amanda explain that she is a medium and her abilities. Once they finished the intro to the video they all went inside. Of course it being them they recorded it and the lobby. They all headed to the fourth floor, Amanda and Y/N have room 426 and Sam and Colby have room 428. They first went into 426, although when Amanda put the key card in. It didn't open, then they tried again with Colby and Amanda putting the card it. Once again, didn't open then Amanda tried again by herself and it worked. When they walked in they were hit with a terrible smell, they said it smelled like a boy's locker room. Not long after they went to 428, the interesting thing is that their room smelled like roses. Not long after Colby said "The couch was moved. It used to be over here!" he pointed at where the couch used to be. Y/N was curious what the rose smell was from "Am I the only one who noticed the very strong rose smell?" everyone looked at her and Amanda commented "Yeah, I noticed that as soon as we came in here." The different smells are strange to them. One room it smells like a boy's locker room, then the next is like roses or flowers. Sam and Colby brought up how the estes method was made there, in estes park. Sam and Colby had the girls leave while they talked to the creator of the method. 

Y/N's pov:

Me and Amanda went back to our room while Sam and Colby talked to Connor, the person who made the method. "So, what do you think about the hotel so far?" I asked. "Well it is definitely interesting." I slid the key card into the door and opened it. "Oh my god..I forgot about the smell." Amanda laughed "Oh well, we will get used to it. It might be awhile before we can go back." I nod and unpack a little bit. Of course not too much to make a mess. "I can sleep on the couch, you can get the bed." I say as I smile. 

Time skip (30 min.) 

Sam and Colby tried knocking on the door, but me and Amanda were down the hall wearing blue dresses, inspired by The Shining. Sam and Colby looked for both of us and turn around to see me and Amanda standing down the hall in the dresses. They were scared but it was worth it.
