Pokémon: Winds of change

Chapter 6: A striving spirit. A growing situation.

Chipp led Amara and Leon to the entrance of the guild.
The three entered, immediately being met with the many voices of various Pokémon, along with the pleasant smell the guild had.

"Vincent sure loves making this place smell good." Amara said, looking around.

"Yea, he's a Pokémon that wants things clean and smelling good." Chipp gestured for them to follow. "I know you know a lot about the guild Amara..." He turned to Leon. "But I don't know about you. Do you know a-lot about this place? I mean Amara has been around the guild countless times, and pretty much lives in town, so she knows a-lot. You though...your still relatively new to town."

"..." Leon simply stared.

"...Gonna take it your not familiar."

"I've been inside the guild twice...that's it. Other then that, I don't know much." Leon said in his usual stoic voice.

Chipp's ears perked up. "Welp! Time you got used to it!"

The three ventured deeper into the guild. They make there way into the recreational area of the guild. Many Pokémon were talking with one another and enjoying time off.

"Alright, for us to get started, we need to ask the guild master if you two can join. We're accepting new members, so he should just allow you two to join after initiation."

"I've heard of that." Amaras ears perked up. "Ive heard the training here is extremely difficult, but fair. How hard is initiation into the guild?"

"Eh, not that hard if you know what your doing. C'mon, I'll bring you to the guild master."

Chipp led them near the guildmaster quarters. Before they could enter, they were stopped by a familiar face, one Amara knew all to well.

"Halt!" The umbreon looked at the three. "Chipp! Why is Amara here?" He looked at Leon. He suddenly got the chills. "And him...w-why is he here?"

"We've formed a team! I know I'm already apart of the guild, but Leon and Amara want to join."

Umbreon looked at both Leon and Amara. He sighs.

"And why do you want to join? Actually, no. Amara, I already know why you want to join. You've tried doing so countless times." He looks at Leon. "You...why do you want to join?"

"..." Leon stares, not uttering a word. This makes Umbreon nervous

"Fine. Be that way." He clears his throat. "You two are in luck. We have just recently reopened positions for new members to join. I know you must be happy Amara. You've been wanting to join for a while now."

"Of course I'm happy! Ever since my arrival in town a while back, I've always wanted to join the guild."

"Why's that?" Chipp asked, curious.

"I always wanted to help people. When I arrived, I've heard many things of the hero's guild, how it's an honorable guile, and how the Pokémon of it helps those in need. A huge bonus is the leader, Vincent, who's such a wonderful Pokémon! He made the guild into what it is today. He's not like other guild leaders who are usually greedy and power hungry."

Umbreon gives a slight nod.

"Indeed. The Guild master is an honorable Pokémon indeed."

Chipp speaks up.

"Huh. I like the reason you want to join Amara. Mighty noble of you to want and help others. Your not in it for the money, just the love of helping others." He smiles. "Makes you instantly better then most Pokémon."

Amara smiles. Umbreon speaks up.

"Ahem, anyway. You two will want to talk to the guild master for initiation. That's sadly not gonna happen."
