(Doctor Pov.)

We all silently gulped as patient 4193 stood by the door staring at us, chuckling to herself. Sighing to myself, I reached over for the microphone and pushed the talk button.

"Patient 4193, take your mask off and enter the maze." The three other doctors plus myself never took our eyes off her. She was one of our most dangerous experiments.

She didn't move. I pushed the button again, trying to calm myself, the feeling that she was staring straight at me, never leaving my body.

"Patient 4193 take of your mask and enter the maze." I repeated. This time, she turned to the opening of the maze and walked in, never touching her mask.

"Find her." I stated over to the other doctor sitting in front of a TV screen, switching between camera channels in the room, a yellow tint covering everything, looking for the girl. Soon, he found her, sitting in the middle of the maze.

Something didn't feel right. She had her mask on still, but it felt like she was waiting for something. Turning around, I looked at the two other doctors who were writing on their clipboards, every so often looking up at the screen to see what was happening.

A thud to my left was heard as the doctor beside me seemed terrified. He was pointing at the screen silently, screaming, his mouth agape, sweat dripping off his forhead. I quickly turned to the screen and saw 4193 without her mask staring at the screen as if watching us from her side of the camera. I blinked, and when looking again, she was gone.

"Shit." I mumbled to myself as I took over flipping through channels. The doctor on the floor curled up into the ball and was mumbling something to himself. The other two had stopped writing and were standing behind me, watching the screens flip by.

Paranoid that we hadn't found her yet, I flipped through the channels once again, my heart beating faster each minute. One of the other doctors behind me huffed in frustration and said he was going to grab some security and send them in to find her.

The door to the study room opened and closed again, self-locking once fully closed. I sigh, continuing my search over the cameras. My gut sinking deeper, each empty screen.
'Where did she go?' I think to myself, getting more frustrated.

A scream came from behind me as my eyes widened, almost throwing up on the floor in front of me. The last screen I flipped to was terrifying. The doctor who walked out just a few minutes before hand was sitting against the wall, blood dripping from the jagged cuts on either side of his mouth, forever smiling. On the wall beside him was a message, with blood from his mouth dripping down the wall off the letters.

"Smile wide for Us~'

After reading it, the screen went black, panicking. I hit a couple of buttons, hoping that it would turn on again. 'How did we not hear him scream? And how was she able to do that she didn't have any kind of weapon?' I asked myself slowly standing from my chair.

The doctor on the ground was still rocking but had stopped talking. The other male was staring at me as if asking what to do. I looked around the room, then to the window, trying to see where the blood was. Not seeing anything, I turned back around; I heard the faint sound of a click, and the lights in the room went off.

The room was dead silent as I stood there shocked, I didn't know what to do. Paranoia slowly creeping back into my body, I whispered to the other doctor.

"Hey, did you touch the lights? What happened?" But got no response. I wasn't alone. The other two doctors were in front of me when the lights went out. Reaching a hand out to the sides of me I slowly walked toward the window that didn't light the room worth shit, only seeing the microphone, rows of buttons, and the TV screen that was black. Looking into the test room again, I tried to see anything, but it looked like the lights were dimming, I couldn't figure it out, but my gut was telling me to run.

I turn back to the dark room behind me and slowly walk to the back of the room, trying to find the door. feeling the door handle, I quickly opened it and left the room, leaning against the door once it closed behind me in the dark hallway. 'Why are there no lights in this place all of a sudden?' I shuffled in my spot. My breathing was getting heavy. I felt my way down the hall, reaching another door and turning its handle.

Bright lights hit my face as I covered my eyes and walked in. Quickly rubbing them, I  looked around the room I was in to figure out where I  went. I didn't like where I ended up. The room in front of me was white, cameras sitting around the perimeter, and the maze of mirrors, each having my teriffied face reflecting back at me. I dropped to my knees with my hands over my head.

'Why couldn't this be a normal testing? why did we have to test this freak?' I state in my head. Everything was quiet, except for my pounding hreat and shallow breathing. I was stuck in the test room with no one able to hear me other than in the study, I couldn't look around in case 4193 didn't have her mask on. Even a reflection would kill me. My hands slowly went to my sides as I closed my eyes and sat up, my right hand hitting something on my waist. I grabbed it and felt out what it was, a walkie-talkie, I forgot about it in my panic to get out. I quickly found the talk button on the side and brought it up to my mouth.

"Help. I need back up in testing room, patient 4193 is loose in the testing room, mask is um well I'm gonna say off most likely, I am currently in the testing room and need help out, the other three doctors I'm assuming are dead." I let go of the button, static filling my ears, no response came. 'Well, I know they will be coming sometime soon, testing should've been an hour before she had to go back in her room for this reason so, when they come back and see no one in the study theyll run in here and save me.' I tell myself trying to settle my nerves. I set the walkie-talkie in my lap and slowly reached my hands out, feeling the floor.

As my hands slid across the floor, my left hand hit something warm and smooth. My hands quickly retreated to my body, and once close, I smelt the metalic liquid and realized it was blood. I shook in my spot, not wanting to open my eyes, figuring that 4193 was standing in front of me with another dead doctor. After sitting there shaking, the smell of blood still on my hands, I slowly opened my eyes, looking down at my lap. The little walkie-talkie was still sitting there, static now quiet, I looked to my hands and saw that they were perfectly clean? I was sure that my left hand had hit blood.

I carefully looked to the floor and started looking across to where I was reaching, nothing just the white titles staring back. I went back to staring at the walkie-talkie in my lap and wondered how much longer there was until the test session was over. Then I heard footsteps, to sets, though one sounded like forced steps while the other was quiet, it sounded like they were going away from me, and without thinking, I yelled out to them.

"Hey! I need help getting out of here, please. I need help!" The footsteps stopped, and everything went silent for a few seconds. Soon the footsteps started walking again, this time getting closer. I sighed and closed my eyes for a second, opening them again but still looking to my lap. The footstepos stopped a bit in front of me, and I went to look and remembered something, I wasn't alone in this room, 4193 was in this room. I mentally slapped myself for ever calling out.

"Who is there?" I ask aloud, not really expecting an answer. There was grunting and then an answer in a gruff voice back.

"It's me, doctor, but don't look she's -" The sound of choking filled the room, and this time, I could see the blood pool on the floor. the doctors body fell to the floor, his throat slit open. I choked back tears as I heard a young females voice beside my ear.

"Smile, big for us!"
