Although there was tumultuous morning, it was fine cold day nonetheless . there was this serenity in the washed out gray clouds that were very characteristic of wintry days , The dim sun is the brightness of the day, taking center stage as the blooms of the summertime become a part of the soil. The sunshine and cold, the sparkle and the ice, somehow warm even when the north wind bites. There will be days when Anastasia wishes to stay in the warm, to observe from a duvet, fingers wrapped snugly around some cocoa... but today was not that day , she had to get some work done. After reincarnating into someone else body in another world , choosing whether she wanted to learn the ways of the world was not a choice at all , it is what she has to do to survive .

Anastasia threw on a long black full length cloak that covered most of her body , it was very effective in keeping her warm and she was off to the vast library placed on the second floor .

The library was as enormous as the manor itself , shelves full of books of every kind. Each carefully organised into their own categories.
The large amount of bookcases towering over Anastasia with its inky treasures adorned the quiet room, quiet in that sense of easy solitude and in the sense of gentle seaside hues, soft blues, grays and browns. The wood of the bookcase looked for all the world as if it had washed up on a beach someday, as if was once a part of a mighty sailing ship. Yet now it sits in its forever harbor, holding onto the greatest treasure of humankind: knowledge.

The architecture of the room was no more apparent than in the bookcase which looked like they were built by someone who has a profound love for literature, with engravings that told a story , an event that should never be forgotten, a part of history . The books themselves looked dreamy , with hardcore covers that are engraved upon ,each one of them telling us a different story about their past and how they came to be . The yellowing pages that hold the greatest power of mankind took on the deteriorating effect of time and managed to survive .

Anastasia felt overwhelmed at the sight of the library but simultaneously at ease knowing that she will find what she needs right here .
Anastasia footsteps echoed throughout the entire structure as she slowly took her fist few steps into this wonderful world of knowledge, her pace quickened as her unease and uncertainty quickly turned into a wordless definition of joy , she found serenity here .
Anastasia wend her way to the part of the library where she hoped the history of that world would be dictated in one of those book .
She explored the bookcases , searching for anything that would help her survive into this world and then as if god once again , listened to her wish , she found what she was looking for ,

The book was an earthy hued cover, warming to the eyes, comforting. After all these years it was hard to the touch as if it has never been touched before, almost as if it was waiting for Anastasia .The worn out yellowing pages that were so characteristic of all books in this library was not apparent in the one Anastasia chose , it was almost as if it was new and the yellows hue was almost non existent . the letters took their places as if by a composer's hand, one who was accustomed to the sweeter notes of beauty unlike any other book .
However Anastasia did not pay any mind to it and hurriedly sat down in the nearest reading nook which was a window seat overlooking the beautiful city of Rusvil and opened the book

'In times of yore there where 6 kingdoms: the enchanted kingdom of Syrena , glorious kingdom of Ivor , the ancient kingdom of Syndril , the cold kingdom of Polaris , the wealthy kingdom of Raveryn and the majestic kingdom of Rothnia . The relationship between these six kingdoms was always tense , it was evident that the peace pact that prevented the countries from going to war was not going to last any longer than it did already , the deteriorating effect of time finally caught up to it and the peace pact was destroyed , this was due to the enchanted kingdom of syrena.

The powerhouse of the six kingdoms , the enormous amount of strength the country has due to their magical power was proposing a huge threat to the other kingdoms . it was not long before the other countries caught onto this and secretly planned to bring Syrena down and split the land into five . it was not an easy war , the five kingdoms definitely struggled against Syrena's well trained and powerful army but eventually , with their combined power , brought syrena down . the use of magic was forbidden among the commoners ever since and those whom were born with an innate talent for magic were either exterminated or exiled for life .

Aiden Clark , the former emperor of Syrena , he was enslaved by the nearby kingdom of Ivor and his whereabouts are currently unknown ... '

Anastasia's concentration was disturbed by the noise of approaching footsteps that clip clopped though the empty hallway . From the way the footsteps sounded it seemed as if the individual who was walking thought of themselves as untouchable , this person allows their footsteps to echo though the empty hallways announcing their arrival . it made anastasia curious of who walks so fearlessly , her curiosity did not have to wait long as she now was face to face with the individual .

His blonde hair consisted of so many hues of gold, from new day light to hearth-glow-golds, yet woven too with such heavenly browns. Those blue eyes were ocean-strong, swimming with warm sun-lit currents.

Anastasia paid no mind to Sebastian who was standing before her and continued to read her book in peace while he clenched his fist and his face twisted in anger ,pain and sadness so intertwined that perhaps their named to be tweaked to reflect the true origins of the emotions . he slowly approached Anastasia , now you could hear the sheer amount of anger he had in him through his footsteps , he grabbed her hand and with a swift motion he brought Anastasia to her feet , the book slipped from her hand and fell onto the floor . the sound echoed throughout the whole infrastructure

Thud

The silence was loud , and now all of Anastasia's attention was on Sebastian as he wanted , ' why , why are you in this library ? ' he questioned through gritted teeth as his grip on her wrist tightened , anastasia winced from the pain . ' why does that matter ' she questioned .

'Answer my question ' he demanded , his became more impatient and agitated by the second

' Why do you think ? what is the purpose of a library ?' she kept her calm and kept asking more questions , not giving into the fear that bound her to this life of misery and sadness

His grip tightened even more ' you insolent daughter of a harlot , you should be grateful that my father was graceful enough to bring you to the Adair home and give you our title and status just because of the mere resemblance you have to Sylvia , how dare you talk back and touch the only core memory Sylvia left us , did you forget that father forbid you go anywhere near the second floor . nothing is enough for you , is it ? ' the tone of his voice became louder as he spoke , as if instead of the anger dissipating it grew and grew .

Anger will cost you far more than you can ever earn

These word cut though Anastasia as if they were knifes , so as the saying goes , stick and stones may break bones but words can never hurt me was a blatant lie . ' what do you know ? ' Anastasia retaliated ' nothing , nothing at all , do you know what it feels like to lack the basic necessaries for life ? have you ever felt hungry ? of course not , how could you anyways with all this luxury surrounding you . the price of your greed is the lives of those whom work their lives off just to serve you aristocrats, and one of those people was my mother... ' tears started to swell up as she stared into his empty blue eyes, not an ounce of regret or pity could be seen in them

His grip onto Anastasia's wrist relaxed , she released herself from him and retreated herself to her chambers

His anger was sadness in fight mode , and then regrets starts to settle in . In the moment, that flash of anger protected him from the pain but what now ?
