Not long after both of the young boys were served with tea and biscuits, the voice of a young girl came through with a shock on her face as she looked at her brother, sitting across her two sisters at the dining room.

"Phi, Ohm!!!"

Olivia, Ohm's younger sister and the last child in the family, threw herself at Ohm who had instantly stood up from his place to receive the embrace.

"Hello, my princess!" Ohm also shouted in excitement with his arms hugging his sister ever so tightly.

Nanon beamed at the sight of the two siblings. He could feel how Olivia was excited to see her brother as she could still be around her elementary school but to see Ohm, smiling brightly and his teeth showing just after seeing his sister, fascinated Nanon more.

Ohm quickly went upstairs with Olivia after the girl wanted to show him her arts. Leaving Nanon with Octavia and Odette continuing their chats.

"So, tonight the event will start around eight o'clock and we need you and Ohm to get ready before that." Octavia said as she put her cup down.

Nanon raised his eyebrows slightly as he was still clueless as to what would be the itinerary for tonight. "Perhaps I should sit this one out since I'm not formally invited, don't you think?"

Odette gasped. "Oh, no, no, no! You should join us, Nanon! You're Ohm's friend and he must have trusted you to come here with him!"

Nanon rubbed his neck, shy. "I don't have a proper outfit to wear."

Octavia chuckled seeing how cute and nervous Nanon looked right now. "You don't have to worry on that. We have everything that you need. For tonight, we'll get you a black suit as you will be wearing the same like Ohm. It's an annual thing and gents are required to wear suits or tuxedos."

A what?

Nanon bit his lips while thinking how rich this family could be. He never be-friended any rich guys or girls at school before so this was all so bizarre to him.

Deep down, he really hoped he would be doing well and not embarass Ohm infront of the guests tonight.

Only less than an hour until the event started and Ohm was dreading to go. He hated this more than anything and he wished he could run away tonight just so he could escape from being in the same room with his dad and other filthy politicians.

And Nanon...

Goddammit, Nanon! Why are you so stupid for wanting to come with me? It is just going to be a lousy, boring dinner among rich and greedy people. Or was he trying to take advantage of me? Why all of a sudden he wanted to come along instead of celebrating Christmas with his family? Did he really lie about it or was it the truth?

Fuck, now I have trust issues.

"Ohm?"

A knock on the door, halted Ohm from his deep thoughts as he slowly got up from the bed he lied on. He turned to see his sister, Octavia coming in with what Ohm assumed was his attire for tonight.

Ohm pulled away his face from his sister to show how reluctant he was throughout the whole ordeal. He refused to come here earlier and he made a scene too at the institution only to find himself coming back to this place.

Octavia slowly closed the door as she made her way closer to Ohm to put the suit on his bed. "Are you alright, my dear?"

Ohm only shook his head as he continued lying on the bed.
