Chapter ten-

Sidney's POV:

I was standing in front of Peyton as I wore Ben's clothes, just a pair of sweats and a unzipped black hoodie.

"Just follow after me- oh and don't mention the scholarship, say something like... I don't know you saved up and worked hard." Peyton said as she zipped up the hoodie, then I unzipped it, to which she zipped it again, this time glaring at me.

"I'm serious Sidney." She said my full name so I got that she was in fact serious.

She stood on the top of her feet and leaned in kissing me passionately. I put my hands on her hips pulling her close.

"I promise it won't be like this for long." She said resting her forehead on mine.

I chuckled and kissed her again, "it better not be."

I pulled away and made my way to the door, skipping down the staircase with my keys in hand.

"Well hello there." A blond woman said with a lollipop in her mouth, she didn't look over two or three years older than Bug.

She was attractive, not nearly as attractive my lady but she was pretty.

She squinted and tilted her head. "You look familiar."

I chuckled and nodded unzipping my hoodie once again, "yeah I was over Bugs house a lot during high school-"

I was cut off by Sid's mother "Oh yea that's right you're s—-"

"Sidney." Peyton said hopping down the stairs.

"Hey daddy." She said smiling widely.

I turned around frowning my eyebrows in front of her family?

I turned back around and noticed that her father was smiling slightly with his arms open.

She ran quickly walked to him and hugged him tightly. He chuckled "how's my little girl doing?"

She lifted and looked at me before she smirked and turned to her father again. "I'm doing pretty good daddy."

I smiled until her dad started to speak again. "So you and Ben consider my offer?"

I cringed at Ben's name leaving his mouth but held my pettiness aside, what offer was he talking about?

She looked at me and smiled nervously. "Please father not in front of our guest."

I scoffed and rolled my eyes, I wasn't a guest on the couch before your people arrived.

I was pushed out of my thoughts when I heard my name.

"Isn't that right Sid?" It was Peyton, she was looking at me with a nervous smile.

I chuckled, confused as ever as I frowned my eyebrows. "I'm sorry what did you say?"

She scoffed and walked over to me, zipping up the hoodie hiding my stomach and sports bra once again. "I was telling everyone about how we were just watching our favorite movie before they arrived."

"Oh yeah we were watching kicka-" she cut me off and laughed, I'm surprised they didn't hear how nervous she was in her words.

"You mean Up, we love watching Up right?" She said flickering her eyes to the shiny and quite large cross on her mothers neck.

"Yeah of coarse Up, great movie." Her family all smiled at me and nodded as if I was the only source of entertainment in the room.

"I'm gonna go now." I said pointing my thumb towards the door.
