10. The Force

Years Later :

"Your body is peace within itself.. and every time I connect with you, I feel at ease, wrapping us in your sheets, you have me wrapped around your finger like Saturn has its ring..." He pushed a stray piece of my flat ironed hair behind my ear, caressing my burning cheek as hit bottom lip stayed in between his teeth as he admired me.

"Really?" I signed back, my eyebrow rose, only teasing him and he nodded, allowing his hand to lay flat on my stomach, and I looked down, smiling.

"We're gonna have one of these.. one day." He mentioned the idea of us having a little baby running around as he always does, and I smiled small, liking that thought.

Checking my watch, I sat up, causing him to deflate a bit but he already knew what time it was, and after he stood to his feet, he took my hands into his, helping me up and dusting the sand off of my bare legs before grabbing my jeans and passing them to me.

"Hopefully.. the baby can wait until after j get my degree!?" I smiled, knowing he'd love to have a family right now.

He shrugged, pulling his shirt over his head. "Maybe." He smirked and I laughed a bit.

This man.

If only my breaks were longer.. it feels weird leaving home every time I do, but it brings me comfort in knowing what I'm coming back to.

I began buttoning my shirt as he slipped his shoes back on, grabbing my heels for me, and pecking my lips with a wet one, causing me to smile.

"Only two more years.. and then I'm getting that baby." He wrapped his arms around my waist once we were fully dressed from our crazed moment on the beach, and I giggled, pecking his lips once more.

"Maybe." I ran out of his arms, with him chasing me back to his car, laughing and scooping me up into his arms as I yelped out of excitement and joy.

"So Ms College student, and my future daughter in law.. how's the city been treating you?" Mr Green asked me, and I smiled as momma and daddy did the same.

After sipping a bit of water, I placed my glass down. "Well Mr Mayor.. It's been very... live." I kept it honest and everyone laughed.

The city ain't nothing like where I come from. Them folk real different but they ain't so bad.

"It's really diverse, they include everybody, in everything, it's an experience everyone should have if you asked me.." I nodded and they all did the same. "How is it lawing a whole town?" I teased and he shrugged.

Mr Green became the Mayor after he and the Town won the case against the Clemons.. and daddy took over the lumber yard, allowing for momma to retire, and she shol' was deserving and happy.

People ain't heard too much about the Clemons since then.. but it's said that they probably went on to another town, trying to make something out of nothing.

I'm currently in college, for law.. I've always been one to speak up when injustice is done, and this world is corrupt enough, it's time for some change.

Me and my love taking different paths.. we never stay too far away from one another.

With Jerome wanting to join the U.S military, he made what he want clear to me as soon as he joined recruiting.

He wants a family, and he wants that with me.

That's exactly how I got this hea' engagement ring on my finger.

When the wedding will take place, we're not sure.. but the both of know very well of what course we'd like to take.. and we'd do anything, to be together, no one could ever jeopardize that.

"It's been fairly easy.. this has always been a peaceful town until bad leadership was taken place. But that's gone, and we have grown." Mr Green nodded his head and momma and daddy praises his words.

As they began to talk, I felt a hand on my thigh, causing me to look to my love beside me as he ushered his head towards the door, and I nodded, removing my napkin from my lap and placing it in the dinner table. "Excuse us.."

Once we made it outside, he sat on the porch, looking up and waiting for me to sit beside him, which I did, and when down, he wrapped his arm around me, kissing my cheek and reaching beside him in a bag I didn't even know was there.

I seen some of the most beautiful flowers I'd ever seen in my whole life...

Tulips, and they was yella'.

He extended the flowers out to me, a smile on his face, those dazzling teeth that I've loved since the day I seen em.

His chocolate hand took hold of mine, kissing the engagement ring on my finger and nuzzling his face into it.

"Lovely... the flowers are lovely. Thank you." I smiled, the both of us staring into each others eyes as he nodded.

"Glad you like them." After he signed, he scooped my face up into his hands, connecting out lips and capturing my tongue in one of the most passionate kisses we ever shared.

Our love being a force like no other, it gravitated around us, placing us in our own personal bubble, blocking our any and every sound and or person that could disrupt this soulful connecting...

and once we pulled away, after he'd told me he loves me in his best way... I couldn't help but feel the same as I've always done and always will.

"I love you."
