Hayko's pov

I'm regretting my choice. I shouldn't have listened to him. I should have been training right now and here I am wasting my time.
"Hey let's go over there!" Ray said as he took my arm and took me with him. Little did I know, the time passed quickly and I had fun? We did some rides, bought cotton candy and snacks, took photos together... It was the most fun I've had in a while, and now the group separated in two parts and now we were only me, Ray, and Mei, who were talking among themselves, while I zoned out, thinking about stuff. Then I heard Ray shout « ARE YOU LISTENING? » that made me jump 10 meters up from where I was. When I came back, in reality, Ray looked concerned while the others... looked quite pleased? But not worrying a bit about the situation. Ray started rambling and asking if I was okay. I think I was too much out of character. « Don't worry about me, I was just organizing my thoughts. Were you saying something important? » « Like if everything I say isn't important! » He says with a pout. He's acting childish like always... « Did you just sigh? » « Yes I did. Now come on stop acting like a child, you're 17. » « Yes but still... » He said dragging the still. We got ahead of the group not minding the world around us.
Mei's pov
So what do I need to say? Oh. My best friend's in love. Like he's madly obsessed with her. Just let me tell you about last night. He disappeared in a rush for about an hour and got back soaked and he luckily didn't get his gift wet. I didn't even have room to talk, he got out rushing after changing his clothes and.. not drying his hair. He always put attention to his appearance, this is new. I stalked him to see where he was going and he got to the new student's dorm. After a while, she opened the door and they started talking. I couldn't hear because I was too far away from them. He got in her dorm and I didn't see him get out for 30 minutes before I started heading back because of curfew. He didn't show up after curfew either. Since then, I started imagining theories of what happened that night. And I'm going to ask him.
« Hey, Ray. Can I talk to you in private? » « Yeah sure what's up? » He said
« Uhm you have been acting weird lately and I'll go straight on this question, do you have a crush on the new student? » « What? No! I see her as a friend not more not less. » He responded quickly « Oh stop. I see how you look at her, stop lying to me bro » He shut up « ...I love her as a friend. I'm just really curious about her » I sighed « Yeah... I mean she's the only woman I know who didn't even react while doing rollercoasters, look how she had a straight face even in the photos. I have to be honest with you, your face was fricking hilarious" I said as I started laughing remembering the picture "Yeah, yeah I've understood that clearly..." He said with an annoyed face. "Let's quit chitchatting, your girlfriend is spacing out there while waiting for us," I said last before running to her while he was busy screaming at me and keeping up. I bumped her shoulder "Hi! We're back!" She started walking without looking at us. She then stopped. "You are not coming?" She said finally turning her head. She looked bothered and lowkey worried. "Yeah, we are! Is there something wrong? You look like you need to run to the toilet" I said while Ray and I started laughing. We quickly stopped when she started glaring at us. I think she didn't take it right. "Hey, chill we're just joking there! No offense" I said quickly. "No offense taken." She said before starting to walk ahead. "Let's find the other group and get out of here." Ray seemed to catch up with her weird behavior "Uhm. Is there something bothering you?" "No there isn't." She quickly replied and walked even faster. Ray and I looked at each other weirdly. But I'll let this slide this time. Maybe not for Ray, but I'll let that slide.
Ray's pov
She's weirder than the weirdest. What demon got her now? As we found the group and got back to our dorms, she was like on guard waiting for someone to attack. « Hey, you seem tense... Are you good? » She turned her head slightly to look at me « Yes I am. There's no need to worry » We got to her dorm and I stopped her.
