Astras birth was an very important day to her parents obviously because it was there first child and she was as healthy as a horse, but also she was born the minute Messi scored the game wining goal against Madrid. Her parents called it fate and that their little girl was going to be the new Messi.
She remembers every coach she's had since she was 4. Their behavior varied, some treated her like a goddess of futbol and other treated her like literal trash. Some even pretended she wasn't there, like she was worth nothing towards her team. She was used to every treatment the minute she was welcomed to Barca Academy at the ripe age of 9.
She never had a doubt in mind that she didn't deserve it but some days she felt like she was burning a hole in her parents wallet. Those moments when she missed the goal by a few inches or she got a red card in the first half. Those days when she step foot into the car all that could be heard was disappointment in her parents voices.
But luckily for Astra disappointment was the best motivation for her. Not making her parents proud, and failing them in the goals they had for her since she was born was her greatest fear. When she looked in the mirror she saw her nine year self who needed to win.

Astras un-steady breathing was all she could focus on in the moment. Her leg unwillingly bouncing faster than ever. You could say Astra was scared for her first professional, but truth was she was really fucking scared.
This was everything the girl had been working on for her whole life. All the times she couldn't hang out with friends on weekend for extra practice, or when she would have sleepless nights trying to finish all her school work because she had practice late. Those times were finally going to get paid off.
She put her hands on her knees and let a few uneven breaths. Before she knew it the line was moving, the girl bounced up and quickly followed her teammates out to the field. The second she walked out that tunnel there was no thoughts just noise.
All the girl could here was yelling and louder yelling. Astra's eyes went wide the looking at the stadium, seeing everyone in the bleachers. It was a soul changing experience for the girl. she could never see herself going back to semi-pro games after this match.
